Hey everyone....im gonna explain my poem here now....... Let's begin:

It was Monday night and my family and I were returning from a trip to Shimla.

I was sitting at the back seat of our 7 seater car and there was a car just behind us, whose driver was driving really badly.

I told my father as much and when we both turned to look at it again, it was gone.

We were on a hill and there wasn't any other way for it to go.

My father told our driver to stop the car and we went a little back to check on the car.

We found it stuck between two trees, down the hill. It was in a really bad state.

The driver had hit the windshield and half of him was hanging out of it.

The girl in the backseat was bleeding profusely and seemed to be dead.

My father called the police and by the time when the car was taken out of the manhole, the girl had bled to death.

It was a horrible scene. We went back to our carcand continued towards home.

Some days later my father told me, that police had contacted him to ask if we knew the people in the car.

My father refused and asked if they knew how they fell.... The officer told him that the driver's blood had a lot of alcohol in it..

He was highly drunk and driving on a narrow road on a hill, which is highly dangerous.

I wrote this poem because I want to spread awareness and prevent these kinds of incidents.

I'm a premedical student and these kind of incidents really aren't something I like to deal with.

Hope that everyone who reads this will at least consider it.

Aashmi.
