As she starts to turn away, Weiss asks Pyrrha, "Hey, do you want to be on my team? We have to be with the people chosen for us, but maybe we can be on the same team!"
I have to have Jaune on my team Pyrrha thinks. "Hm? Oh, uh, yeah maybe."
Weiss gives a little cheer, says goodbye, and runs down the hallway.
Later that evening
All the new students were gathered in the auditorium for the team creating. Most teams were made by looking at skill levels, and putting together whoever looks like they would work together best. Professor Ozpin, the headmaster, and Glynda Goodwitch, his assistant, walked up to the podium.
Ozpin began to speak."Good evening hunters and huntresses. Tonight, we create the teams you will be on for the next few years while attending Beacon Academy. We will start with the first team. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. The leader is Ruby Rose. You will be team RWBY." Pyrrha remembered Ruby, her sister Yang, and Blake from earlier. They all met in the hallway. Weiss seemed disappointed by her team, but put on a fake smile.
"Next......" Professor Ozpin proceeded to name the teams.
"Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren. The leader is Juane Arc. You will be team JNPR." Ozpin announced. Pyrrha's team walked up on stage, and she was very very happy that Jaune was, not only on her team, but also her team leader. She had faith in Jaune, and thought he could be a great leader. As he walked up to the podium, he tripped and fell, and people started laughing. Pyrrha hurried over to help him up, and scowled at the crowd. The whole place fell silent.
"Thanks Pyrrha. I didn't embarrass you did I?" Jaune asked.
"Oh, no. Not at all." She said as her team walked to the side. Pyrrha studied her other team mates. Ren was a medium height guy with long black hair pulled into a low tail, with a streak of pink. He wore a green and black kimono looking outfit.
Nora had orangish hair, and wore a grey and pink dress. She seemed to pester Ren, and he didn't really appear to notice her.
"Ren! I'm so happy we are on the same team! I should make pancakes!" Nora said as she jumped around like a crazy mad woman.
"That would be great, Nora." Ren replied calmly. He must be pretty used to Nora acting this way.
"Ren! Ren, watch this!" Nora disappeared from view, and reappeared after a few moments, hanging upside down, as she poked Ren's nose. "Boop!"
Pyrrha looked over at Jaune. She sighed. He's so cute! I wonder if he likes me...
