'Hey'

You recieved a single text from kuroo. Usually he would send you paragraphs for no reason, so this simple message made you worried.

'Hey'

You nervously waited in your bed as you laid comfortably in his sweatshirt like you did every night.

His scent often faded from his sweatshirt so you'd give it back to him and make him wear it for a couple days, then he'd give it back to you. He thought it was cute. And you loved to feel like you weren't alone when you were.

'I want the week to go faster but I also dont'

You kind of understood what he was saying, although it was something you didn't talk about really, you loved the time you spent with him, but thinking about how it's slowly coming to the end, you became sad.

You were sure Kuroo was planning something for Saturday and you were nervous. As much as you wanted it to be Saturday, you didn't. It was hard to explain, but you wanted time to stop. You wanted to spend all of your time with kuroo and the thought of him leaving for college made you sad.

'I know how you feel. Just treasure every day like it's your last.'

You tried your best to comfort him, but deep inside you felt nothing but sadness. You always tell yourself you would stay positive, for kuroos sake, but at night, when you were all alone your feelings would take over.

'Yeah.'

He responded, making you feel even more sad you couldn't do much. Time would pass and eventually he would be in university and you would still be in highschool. You wouldn't see him every day, he would meet new girls from his new school. They would probably be much prettier than you and kuroo would leave you for them.

You felt insecure thinking about kuroo leaving you for other girls when he enters university, but you never wanted to tell him because you didn't want to show your jealousy.

'I'll see you tomorrow. Good night ♥️'

You texted as you connected your AirPods to your phone and found music you enjoy listening to when tired.

You closed your eyes and cuddled the sweatshirt you were wearing. "I love you kuroo." You whispered as you slowly drifted to sleep.

You woke up like you did every other day noticing a reply from kuroo.

'♥️'

You went to school.

Once again, Kuroo was more quiet than usual, he was more touchy like he was in science yesterday, and he didn't want to let go of your hand to let you go to art class.

The day ended, and the next day was the same. And the next day, and the next.

It was the end of the day on Friday and Kuroo held your hand as he walked with you. He didn't take his car today. He wanted to walk you home. You lived pretty far from eachother, and the school, but he said he didn't mind the walk. He just wanted to spend more time with you.

You didn't understand why. He would see you tomorrow either way, you just went with the flow although kuroo wouldn't express his feelings. He'd always have a problem with this.

He never cried, yelled or anything like that. It was like he was wearing a mask that smiled only.

He was gentle to you and never got aggressive no matter how stupid you were.

He was acting sad, and this was new, but you still found it difficult to do anything. Do you just walk home while he stays silent? Do you say anything? Do you give him a smile?

"Kuroo tomorrow I want you bright and full of energy. Promise me." You said looking up at the boy who was gently looking towards you.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Stop being so gruuummmpppyy." You said as you squeezed his cheeks, bringing them in front of yours.

"I love you." You said as his eyes are directly in front of yours.

"Me too." He whispered.

"You what? Sorry I didn't hear you!" You said in a joking tone.

"I love you too." He showed a slight smile.

"That's my boy!" You smiled bringing his face into yours giving a light kiss.

You were at the front of your own house, so you had no shame in kissing kuroo. You'd walked with him for a while, you were surprised you said anything at all, but hearing Kuroo say he loved you was the little thing that brought up your and his mood.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He smiled still holding onto your hand.

"Yeah." You whispered looking towards your and his hands.

"I'm home now. So you can let go of my hand." You smiled at the boy with pink cheeks.

"I don't wanna let you go." He said as he looked towards the floor.

You got flustered in return. "Don't be like that. It's too cute. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" You smiled as he gently let go of your hand.

"Mhm" he nodded as he waved, watching you unlock your door.

"Have a safe walk home." You smiled before blowing a little kiss in his direction. You closed the door as Kuroo began to walk back home.

All that was left was waiting for tomorrow night.

Recently, you haven't been playing much videogames. Final exams were coming up, and studying was more important, although you weren't studying either way.

You never knew why, but you just didn't have the energy to play videogames. Kenma and Isabella were still dating, except their relationship was much more strong than yours and kuroo, at least you thought that way, since they are always together and tell eachother everything.

You still don't know much about kuroos feelings or his interests other than volleyball and chemistry. You hurt yourself internally comparing your relationship to your best friends relationship, but it was just a thought. You hoped kuroo could trust you as much as you trusted him.

You logged into your computer sitting in front of a blank screen.

Maybe Genshin impact? Maybe minecraft? Maybe just watch some YouTube?

You decided on watching YouTube, but then just continued to look at the computer thinking about what to watch.

All you could think about was kuroo. You didn't even know if something happened with his family or with himself. He never told you how he was feeling and you hated him for that.

It put a lot of pressure on you. 'What if he's getting sick of me?' You feared that thought more than anything in the world.

You forgot all about kuroo as you watched your favourite YouTuber.

It quickly became night and you laid in your bed like you did every night.

Except there was something on your mind. Kuroo. As always.

You sighed as you forced yourself to place your phone away from reach as you wanted to fall asleep.

You just wanted to see kuroo. You just wanted to see him happy tomorrow wherever he would be taking you.

You sunk into your sheets thinking about the days he would take you out for walks around the city and take you to pretty places to take pictures with you.

Every time you opened your phone you saw a picture of you and him in your brightest moments as it's set as your lock screen.

You would snuggle into the large teddy bear he'd bought you for Valentine's Day which he specifically slept with before he gave it to you, so it still smelt like him.

Your phone lit up from across the room
