The Alpha's Babies

Chapter 17

Mason POV

The moment I felt Lottie get hurt my wolf and I wanted to be by her side immediately, the moment her blood filled my nostrals I wanted to murder the person who injuried my mate, and the moment I felt her beecome unconcious was the moment my eyes saw red and everything went dark, all I knew and wanted was to be with her.

In a flash, I spun around, kicking off as I sprinted towards my mates scent, ignoring the growl of the other Alpha from behind me, but did I give a crap about him? Hell no, he was less than important than to me, hell he was less than unimportant to me, I couldn't give two flying fucks on who he was. All I knew was that my baby needed me and I was going to be by her side even if the world collapsed. There was nothing I wouldn't do for my mate.

I could faintly see Lottie, in her wolf form, her fur covered in blood, but most importantly was that most of the blood was coming from what I could see was her neck which made my heart race with anxicousness.

But before I could get closer to her, I felt something shift through the air, coming towards me, turning my head, I halted as I saw the Alpha jump over me, his body just missing me by a few inches. He was now in front of me, growling at me as he bared his teeth and I let out a ferousicous growl my eyes narrowing down at him with hatred as I told him silently through my eyes to get the fuck out of my fucking way before I go ape fucking shit on you. But did he move away from me? No. He fucking didn't which just made my wolf and I irritated.

Snapping my teeth at him, I lunged at him, kicking off and clawing at his chest, he dodged my attack by moving to the right but wasn't able to avoid me clawing at his left leg and he howled in pain as I clawed deep, making him limp slightly.

Now that I had done that, it was going to be way easier to defeat him now, not that he had stand a chance against me. I wasn't being egotistical either, it was obvious when his movements were way slower than what they should be which would have happened from losing his mate, the fact that he always tried to attack full on leaving him defenseless and the way he acted, which was not a way that an Alpha male should. People like him were a disgrace to the Alpha community. Sure, I could understand where he was coming from that but it was in no way a reason for him to come into MY territory and take MY children from me AND try to start a war with my pack. I know that I would probably kill the man who had killed my mate, and that is fair enough but that doesn't give him the fucking right to try and take his anger out on the other people who had nothing to do with it.

The Alpha tried running towards me but was to slow at trying to attack me, smoothly dodging his attack, I jumped up, twisting my body so that I could be on top of him and then like lightening, my mouth latched onto the back of his neck and with a swift move that had me growling, I broke his neck off, his body going limp to the floor immediately. Spitting his fur and that out of my mouth, I watched as everyone stopped. Looking at the dead Alpha on the floor, but I didn't stick around to much to see what they were going to do. Turning on my heel, I spun around and quickly sprinted towards my mate, my wolf howling in agony.

"My mate is injuried badly, I will be back at the pack house immediately, get things prepped. She has a deep neck bite, wound" I min-linked the pack doctor who immediately replied back saying that he was getting things prepped and ready as we speak.

"Someone tell Carter -the new wolf- to deal with his old pack members" I ordered someone from my pack and I felt them nod their heads towards me, saying "Yes Alpha".

Shifting into my human form, I quickly yet carefully picked Lottie up, her fur brushing against me, and I felt blood against my hands making me growl a low growl. Yet I couldn't help but admire the work my mate had done towards the man who had done this to her, the very man who was now dead, laying limp on the ground who was a few inches away from my mate. 

Using my wolf speed, it didn't take long to get to the pack house where I went straight to the small docto's unit, the door was already opened and the pack doctor by my side in seconds. I layed her carefully down onto the bed and the doctor immediately tended to her wounds.

"Alpha, I know you won't like this but I have to ask you to leave while I clean things up. You being there will only allow me to slow down my process. I will inform you immediately when she is better" The pack doctor said, apologizing towards me. I let out a growl "NO! I will not leave my mate" I barked but the pack doctor just sighed, before he got the chance to do anything else though, a voice interrupted us. "MASON GREY TAYLOR! YOU BETTER GET OUT OF THE DAMN ROOM BEFORE I COME IN THERE AND WHOP YOUR ASS! DONT MAKE ME DO IT" My oh so loving mother growled and my eyes widened as I turned around.

There in front of me stood my family. A family that looked very annoyed at me. I couldn't help but take a gulp of nerviousness. If there was one thing that scared me it would be my mother when she is angry.

Carter POV

"The Alpha wants you to handle this, since he's busy attending to his mate, and our current beta is well, knocked out" An elder male came up to me and I nodded my head, my eyes widening a little with disbelief before I calmed myself down.

Everyone had stopped what they were doing as soon as the Alpha -my ex Alpha- died, not knowing what to do, none of them expected their Alpha to die, much less so easily, but that was what happened when you became reckless and a disloyal Alpha.

Walking over to my old pack who had grouped together, huddling towards each other as they tried to sort out what was happening.

"He's dead! Our Alpha is dead! What are we going to do!?"

"Thank god, I mean I know that we should all be sad but let's face it, he was no Alpha after his mate died"

"I know what you mean, but what are we going to do now? We have no beta, or Alpha who's going to become Alpha?"

"Are we going to become  rogues now??"

Those were the few sentences I could get out from their whispering and I couldn't help but clear my throat. Immediately they looked at me, some glaring at me while others looked just as surprised to see me.

"What are you doing here you bastard!?" Someone shouted out and I let out a growl. 

"You ditched us for them! What kind of loyal beta are you!?" Another shouted and I couldn't help but let out a snarl.

"Enough!" I boomed, my voice echoing throughout the forrest and everyone shut up, looking at me with wide eyes. I myself was surprised by the power in my voice. But what even surprised me more was the fact that they had bowed their head down, mumbling sorry's towards me.

"You're becoming the Alpha" My wolf said and my eyes widened with disbelief.

"That can't be right! We left the pack remember!" I stated and I felt my wolf shake his head sighing.

"You did leave the pack, but since the old Alpha had not choosen another Beta or have a child to take his place, you are the next in line to become Alpha" My wolf stated and my eyes widened even more.

"We are their Alpha now" My wolf stated.
