-Alexis-
There is seriously something strange going on. Really strange. He's been staring at me all day.
It's really weird, because he would just notice I'm here and that's it, but today I caught him looking at me many times.
Right now I'm sitting here in class, just waiting for it to be over. It's last period, and I can't wait to go home because I'm so uncomfortable right now.
Five more minutes Alexis, just five more minutes.
I try not to pay attention to him, but I just can't. All I can see from the corner of my eye is him staring me down. I need to know why though. He's usually not like this. Usually he wouldn't even look at me. If he did, he would usually just send me death glares.
I also noticed that today he hasn't been talking to his friends; he hasn't been talking to anyone lately. All he is doing is putting all of his attention on me.
Something about him also looks very different; I'm not sure what it is though. He doesn't have that annoying yet convincing smirk on his face, he's stuck in a normal hoodie and jeans which is not what he usually wears, so something must be wrong. He has this blank poker face too so I can't tell what's going on.
The bell finally rang and class was now over. I need to get out of here. I gathered all of my things and quickly walked out of class. I made my way through the halls to my locker and I opened it getting the things that I needed before I leave. I got everything that I needed and shut my locker. I looked around me, looking for Jacob, but there was no sign of him. I guess he already left.
I walked through the halls to the exit and left the school. I got into my car and drove home.

I finally got home, but the whole ride there I thought about why Jacob kept staring at me.
Something is up. And I need to know what it is.
He hasn't talked to me since the whole thing happened, and if he would, it would obviously be about something important.
Whatever, I'm done with him and I need to stop thinking about him.
I took off my sweater and shoes then walked into the kitchen and threw the keys on the counter. I got out a soda from the fridge and walked upstairs to my room.
I feel better now. I feel comfortable. My room is my favorite place in the house. It's mine, I can do whatever in here, I can make it look like however I want it to, and its the one place where I can focus and think. The walls are a pretty greenish-bluish Caribbean blue color, all my furniture is white, and my bed covers and rugs are black. My favorite colors.
I sat on the bed as I turned on the tv and started watching The Walking Dead.
Best. Show. Ever.
That show is life. My life.
While all the good parts were going on, I heard a car door slam from outside. I looked out the window and saw my parents walking up to the front door. I got up and went downstairs then opened the door.
"Hey Alex." My dad kissed my forehead.
Alex is my nickname from my dad since my name is Alexis, and I like it actually. I don't mind it. But some people also call me Lexi or Lex. I don't mind Lex, but I hate it when people call me Lexi. There's a specific reason why.
"Hey dad." I smiled.
"Hi Lex!" My mom hugged me.
I giggled. "Hey mom. How was work?" I asked as we all walked into the kitchen.
"Same as always. Boring, exhausting. And about that, we have to talk to you about something." My mom said looking at my dad.
"Okay. What's up?" I asked sitting in a table chair.
"So after tomorrow, for four days, your father and I will be going away again for another business trip."
"Oh, okay."
It's always a damn business trip.
"But this time, we are leaving you here by yourself. We know that you are very responsible, and we trust you. We know that you will be good and take care of the house and yourself."
Really? They're leaving me here with the house to myself? Finally! I'll have my own space!
"Don't worry. I will." I said trying to sound serious.
"And you already know the rules. No parties, no inviting strangers over, or other crazy stuff like that. Okay?"
Do they know me at all? I don't do things like that.
"Yeah guys, I won't do anything like that. I promise." I said.
"Okay. Good. So you'll be fine by yourself?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
"Okay. Well you already know where the money is and stuff, so we shouldn't really be worried."
"Okay."
"So how was school Alex?" My dad asked.
I sighed. "Same as always. Boring, exhausting, tiring, annoying, stressfu-"
"Okay honey, we get it, it sucked." My dad laughed.
Exactly. I don't even get why my parents feel the need to ask me how school was, when they already know that it was terrible and that I hate it.
"Yes it did. Now I'm gonna go back up to my room okay?" I said walking towards the stairs.
"Yeah, okay." They said and I went back up to my room.
I laid back down on my bed and noticed that the episode that I was watching just ended.
Damn it. Whatever, I'll finish it later.
But for now, I gotta finish my homework. I grabbed my book bag and dug through it looking for my math homework.
Got it. Now let's just finish this crap already.
I was about to start but my phone started ringing. I ignored it and it started ringing again. I let out a low grumble as I read the caller ID.
Jacob Mason.
What?! Why is he calling me?!
And why do I still have his number in my phone?
I ignored it again. I am not talking to him.
Seconds later, It started ringing again. I knew it wouldn't stop, and the sound of my annoying ringtone was really getting on my nerves, so I gave up.
Ugh fine.
I pressed the answer button and nervously held up the phone to my ear.
"Hello?"
