chapter 8: Dinner

         The girls where sitting on Belle's bed .

" So, why don't you want to wear what he bought you . It looks quite expensive" Belle ask already tired of trying to reason with Eva

     " That is my point, why did he have to buy me a dress? An expensive one for that . This guy is just flaunting his money. I don't want money I have that already I want love , true love" Eva explains

" I think he is just trying to win your heart first . Then he will start showing you his true feelings but I don't blame him, you haven even given him the chance to show what he feels" Belle says

'" what ever you say " Eva answers

" let's get started"

After hours of Cindy and Belle getting Eva ready . They were finally done .

  Eva had texted Adrian Belle's address . And he said he was going to pick her up in 10 minutes.

" Baby girl don't forget to be happy and enjoy your self" Belle said when Adrian car pulled up in her drive way .

"I will" Eva said truly meaning it.

Eva was seated in Adrian car , and was bitting the inside of her cheek to stop her from say anything to ruin this date .

    Form the moment she got in to his car it has been from how many luxurious cars he has to how many celebrities he has meet and how expensive the place  they where going to was . It took months to get a reservation but his dad had connections .

Eva was bored, he didn't even bother to compliment her or appreciate the fact that she put on his expensive dress. Or at least ask her how she was .  Did he really like her ?or was he just trying to impress her?

Or maybe he is trying to impress you because he likes you . she could hear A sly voice in her head that could only belong to Belle say.

    That's true maybe he is just wants to impress me because he likes me " she said to herself.

" We are here" she could hear him say.

They walked in the restaurant and he was right. Kings was a very expensive restaurant. It was too expensive and for all those show off rich people like herself . That's what she has always been telling her aunt when ever she was here. Being related to the owner means you don't really need a reservation.

Making their way to their table Adrian still couldn't shut up about how hard it was for him to get their reservation.

    If Adrian wasn't going to start a proper conversation she might as well do it.

But what was she going to talk about .  This guy was so wealth center.

She clears her throat

" Yes I can see the place is beautiful,I like it" she said

" I knew you would like it ' he replied all pleased with himself.

" When you asked me out I didn't think this was where we would be going to, but I think when I saw the dress it crossed my mind that we might be going to somewhere fancy"

   " Yes am that type of guy that want the most lavishing things for his woman"

" So apart from sport car , and lavishing things what do you like?"

" How do you know I love sports cars ? " He asked surprised

" Well first of all you drove one here, and you spend the whole ride here talking about all the sports cars you own"

  " Oh yes , that's true, am madly in love with sports car. I have the lastest ferrari. It's quite expensive also, I think it's worth a middle class man's salary for two or three years.  Am also in to fashion dresses . Like what I  have on . Many teens can only wish to be me cause I have it all for a 17year old."

Eva couldn't believe it, he had gone back to talking about himself. She just sat quietly eat her food.

After Eva had finished her food , Adrian paid the all too expensive bill . Which he couldn't stop talking about amongst other things.

He took her back to Belle's place, and drove off before she made it to the door.

" How did it go" Cindy asked as Eva was watching her makeup out in the toilet sink

" Horrible, worst than the one with James who was too touchy. "

" It couldn't have been that bad " Belle said

  "Oh it was that bad and more. He did all the talking. Oh and guess what he was talking about? "

" What , ?" Belle and Cindy chorus

" About how rich he is , his multiple sports cars, his father's wealth, how every one wants to be him . And how lucky I'll be if I date him . Then back to his sports car"

" Maybe it's because it's just the first date , and he is still tensed and isn't comfortable"  Belle defend his action

" Oh he looked very comfortable , too comfortable if you ask me " but let just settle with he wasn't comfortable. And pray he will be tomorrow. Cause I  would not be able to take this again."

" Your going out with him tomorrow,"

Belle ask with a smile on her face

" Unfortunately, I am . Can we forget about him and just enjoy our sleepover."
