Ravens pov:
"How's your new home?" Jake asked me and wiggled his eyebrows up and down. I looked at him confused. I didn't know why he was doing that but I pushed it aside.
"Let's just say he has money." I said as I put a fry in my mouth. I was still really surprised to see that a teacher had that much money. I mean yeah his family is rich but why become a teacher?
No one really gives a fuck about the kids that go to my school. They're all so preppy and spoiled.
"Explain?" Gray looked at me curiously.
"I'll just show you."
-
"He lives here?" Jake asked with wide eyes. "But he's a teacher-"
"His father was a businessman but retired so he got the business passed down to him. I just don't know why he would want to be a teacher. I'll need to find that out." I said as we got into the elevator.
"Did you know I had the best dump of my life this morning?" Jake said with a huge sigh of relief. "I wish I could go back and savor it."
What the fu-
"Okay uhm moving on." Gray clears his throat. "How was your night? Are you okay? Do you need me to stay the night tonight? Do you wanna stay at mine?"
"I'm fine Gray." I smiled brightly at him.
"How come you never check up on me like that huh?" Jake asks defensively. "Does Ray Ray have a crush?"
"What- no- you pervert-" Gray furrowed his eyebrows together. We all knew he didn't. We were all like siblings it was just fun to tease each other.
In the past we may have had a thing but it was different now. We both realized that we cared for each other like friends not anything more. We were so stripped from love that we didn't realize what kind we had.
"Then why do you love her more than me?" Jake was being dramatic as always and I smiled. He was just teasing and I loved it. Him being problematic always made my day. I knew Gray checked up on him like he did me. We all did.
Gray pushed Jakes head softly and Jake shoved Gray. I stepped back and laughed as I saw them get into a pushing match. These happened often. It was nothing serious just two dudes playing around.
The elevator opened and somehow I was pulled into them by my hair and fell on them as they tripped and fell. I tried not to smile as I lifted my head.
"Who pulled my hair?" I tried to ask seriously but couldn't contain my laughter. We all busted out laughing but stopped when someone cleared their throats.
We looked at each other wide eyed as we saw Mr. Williams, Devin, and that cop from last night. Robert or something? I couldn't remember. Me and Jake busted out laughing again but Gray got up and straightened his clothing.
Jake rolled on top of me from rolling and laughing. I had no idea why I was laughing so hard but I was. Jake was holding his stomach as silent laughs came from both of us. Tears ran down his cheek.
He tried to calm down and get up but tripped and fell into Gray, his face hitting smack into Grays butt. I don't know why but that was the one that killed me. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard.
My stomach hurt so bad I had to close my eyes shut and try to think of something else to help me not think of Jake. He was just too funny. I took slow breaths to help me calm down. Once I managed to stand I cleared my throat and walked up to them.
