"You're kidding me. These can't be the best people you've got, Sam." J.J. McCracken slammed the files down on his desk. Samuel, a skinny, 20 something, geeky-looking newly hired assistant to J.J, fidgeted with his fingers and nervously shifted on his feet.

"Sir...the people's files I've given you are some of the most talented people I could get a hold of. Have you read through their past accomplishments yet?" He replied to his steaming boss. J.J. reluctantly picked the papers back up. His eyes widened in surprise as he flipped through the various files.

"Are you even sure these are real? How'd you manage to get ahold of top secret government files? The last thing I need is to get sued by some random kid's parents because I hired them to investigate an animal's death."

"It wasn't easy, Sir. You told me to get ahold of some investigators ASAP, and after a lot of struggle, this is what I could get. Although, I read through the first few kids in there, and I myself am truly really impressed. A few of them saved the president!" Sam finished this last sentence with subtle jazz hands, gaining some confidence. J.J. quickly shot him down though.

"How can we be sure these are even legitimate? Where'd you say you got these again?"

"Sir, you're one of the richest men in America, that role comes with some advantages." Sam simply replied. J.J. plopped himself down in his seat and rubbed his temples.

"I'm still a bit shaky about this, Sam. I know I want Teddy and Summer to help, but a bunch of other kids I don't know?"

"I understand why you're not fully in agreement with this Mr. McCracken, but six animals have died in the past two weeks. It's costing you money, and even though you've got lots to spare, if we don't do something soon we might be in serious trouble." J.J took a minute to think over this, seemed to realize it had to be done, and slid the files over to Sam.

"Alright. Try to get all of them to come. I'll inform my daughter and her boyfriend."

Samuel nodded and hurried out of the room.
