Carrington's POV:
I walk to Derek's room and I knock on his door
"Who is it" Derek Said inside his room
"It's your father Derek can I come in" I Said waiting for a answer
"Yeah dad you can come in" Derek Said giving me a answer
"Alright" I Said And I walk into his room and I see Derek Drawing at his desk
"Hey Derek can I talk to you" I Said standing near his bed
And Derek turned around in his chair with the wheels on the bottom of the chair "sure dad" Derek Said Looking at me
I sit on the edge of the bed facing Derek "Alright,here is what I want to talk about with you" I Said Looking at him
He was looking at me "dad your scaring me" Derek Said
"Derek...don't be scared Alright" I Said and grabbed his hand in a parent way
"Dad what is it then...if you can tell me...not to be scared" Derek Said and he goes to take my hand
"Okay....I got fired from my job as a lawyer Derek" I Said Looking at him
"Dad how did you lose your job but you were so good at it" Derek Said Looking at me with worried eyes
"Well I made a slip up and my Boss got mad and Fired me" I Said Looking at him again
"But Dad...how are you going to find a job" Derek Said Looking at me again with comforting eyes
"Well...I" I was interrupted by the door and Devon was standing there "you got fired dad" Devon Said with curious eyes
"Can I finish you two" I Said And they both nodded their heads yes
"I found a new job and they pay a lot more" I Said Looking at then with a smile
"Really dad" Derek and Devon Said together with smiles on their faces
"Yes really" I Said really happy
"We are happy for you dad" Derek Said smiling at me
"Yeah I am too" Devon Said smiling as well
"I start tomorrow" I Said Looking at them both while sitting on Derek's bed
"That's great dad" Derek Said Looking at me while sitting in his rolling chair
"Yeah" Devon Said nodding his head yes
Thank you I appreciate that from you two...although Devon is 20 and Derek is 19 now" I Said smiling at my two twin sons
"Well yeah dad" Derek Said trying to hold in his laughter
"Dad we know our ages" Devon Smiles while trying to also hold in his laughter in as well
"I know that Devon I was just saying your ages" I Said Looking at them both in their eyes
"Caleb doesn't live with Cole anymore but he does have a new Master because he is in the puppy play community...and his new Master is none other than Xander Collins,so he's been living there now" Derek Said Looking at me
"Oh really" I Said Looking at him with curious eyes
"Yes really...but dad he is alright tho" Derek Said smiling at me
"Okay just making sure" I Said and getting up off the bed and walking away and leaving the bedroom
Derek goes back to drawing again!!!!
