chapter 3: understanding

Naruto left the hokage's mansion relatively early this time.
So he grabbed dinner from a shop and delivered it to his best friend sakura.
This time he knocked on the door.
"I'll get it mom!"
Sarada yelled to her mom.
Sarada walked down the hallway to the front door and opened it.
"Oh it's just you...."
Sarada rolled her eyes.
"Moms in the kitchen..."
"That's what your here for, right?"
Sarada asked.
"Actually I was dropping dinner off for y'all."
"I bought it at some place."
"It seemed good."
The blonde replied.
"Oh, well.... Thank you..."
"We got dinner mom!!!"
Sarada yelled.
"Ok!!"
Sakura yelled back.
"Do y'all just yell during the day?"
Sakura then walked into the room.
"Most of the time we do."
Sarada replied.
Sakura rubbed Sarada's head.
"No we do not just yell, you silly."
"And thanks for the dinner."
Sakura took the dinner out of naruto's hand.
"Hey sakura can I talk to you for a moment?"
The blonde asked.
"Yeah, alone?"
"Yeah."
The blonde walked her outside.
"Whens saskue suppose to comeback?"
Naruto leaned on the wall.
"I don't know anymore, I don't know if he's working on the estate, doing important missions or just sneaking off with some other girls... All he told me was he'd be back soon."
Sakura replied.
"No exact date?"
The blonde wondered.
"No.."
Sakura crossed her arms.
"But winters almost over and if he's not back I don't know what I'm going to do...."
The blonde glanced at her.
"Well then you ask for support by me or our freinds."
"If you have to work late shifts at the hospital I can watch Sarada."
"I don't know how, but I would make it work..."
"But I'm sure it won't come to that..."
"He will be back, I know it..."
"But you don't worry about that. you worry about supporting your daughter sarada."
Sakura looked at the blonde.
"...you have matured so much..."
"Its... Almost not the naruto I knew anymore..."
"Thanks naruto.."
"For everything..."
Sakura hugged naruto.
"Its not a problem..."
"Were best freinds... freinds help each other out in tough times."
"Anyways I better get home now."
"Don't wanna be late for dinner."
"Hinata's making chili tonight, yum!!"
Sakura giggled.
"Ok... Bye.."
The blonde walked away towards his house.
