“Oh hey there, I’m Gnomeo” said Gnomeo.
They made small talk while the cashier was swiping the items and soon they started to laugh and joke around. They got along so well it seemed like they already knew each other. Gnomeo checked the time. He was late! He thought to himself, Juliet is going to get mad at me. He hurried and said goodbye to Benny. Weeks past since the gay men last saw each other. Benny had been looking on Grindr for another man like Gnomeo. Gnomeo however had already planned his wedding fully with Juliet, even if he really didn’t want that life. The next day, Gnomeo was going on a run with his shirt off, pecs bursting out for everyone to admire and while he was looking at two gay men on a date he ran into someone! He got off the person startled and embarrassed.
“G-Gnomeo?” Said a little cute male ,Benny.
“Oh my god! Benny!” Gnomeo said in excitement.
The two caught up and they exchanged numbers. Gnomeo has wanted Benny to go to his wedding but he was debating if Benny would get jealous. They both talked more and more and soon Gnomeo had to continue his run.Before Gnomeo left he finally blurted out...
“Benny..! Before I go, would you like to go to my wedding?”
“Oh..” Benny said in complete disbelief.
“What’s wrong?” Said Gnomeo.
“Oh nothing! I’d love to go!” Said Benny with a fake, sad smile. I thought he was single... if only I didn’t think so much about him and fantasized about him.
