Sarnai's POV I stare at my now blank walls and empty room. I'm going to miss it here. This place has been my home for almost fourteen years. I was in an orphanage until i was four, then my parents adopted me had been my home ever since.
In two weeks on Thursday, I would have completed my fourteen years living here, but I won't.
When I was seven years old, my parents and I figured out I was special. I have a spirit animal that gives me powers when I call upon them. My animal is a Golden Pheasant, It chose me, an innocent, normal and clueless seven year old girl at the time. I wonder why.
Ever since my parents found out they have been looking to see if they could find other kids like me. Turns out, about a month ago, they did, a whole school of them.
Now I am moving homes and transferring to a school full of people like me and I don't know whether I should be excited or scared.
"Are you finished packing sweetie?" My mother asks me from the living room.
"Yes, I'm finished." I respond as I zip up my suitcase and exit my now old room after taking one last glance and closing the door.
"That's the last of it." I say exiting my childhood home for the last time.
I put my suitcase in the trunk of my moms car and hop into the passenger seat while my father is driving the U-Haul that is filled with our furniture and the rest of our things.
The car ride was long, three hours long, but music always makes an hour seem shorter than it is.
When we finally got to the school, I realized that, that's where I will be staying.

"Mom, how come you didn't tell me that I would be staying in a dorm?" I ask, I'm not mad, but moving on its own was a lot. If I was going to have to live on Campus, I would have liked to know.
"You were already stressed, about having to move, we didn't want to add onto that, I'm sorry. We didn't mean to make you upset." She explains and I understand where she's coming from. I didn't make it easy on them at first when I found out that we were moving, but I know that they are only doing it because they think it would be good for me.
"I understand, I'm not upset. I was just wondering why." I say as we get out of the car and my mom opens the trunk. I get my luggage (two suitcases, a duffel bag, and a backpack) and hug my mother and father goodbye.
"If you ever need anything, you make sure to call us. You have our numbers, don't hesitate to contact either of us. If you ever want to stay the night, then that's perfectly fine, you have the address and are more than welcome at any time. You will always have a room, ready and waiting for you." My mom says and I smile and nod.
