Stella's POV "So, how are things with you and Austin?" Sarah asks Lyla and my eyes widen.
"Oh my god, are you guys dating?" I ask shocked.
"Yup, he asked me to be his girlfriend last week, I had waited for 9 years for him to ask me the question. Since we were little I had the biggest crush on him but I kept it to myself cause I didn't know if he felt the same way. We became close friends after a while and now we're together and I'm so happy. Everything is going great." She explains.
"That's great, you guys look good together," I respond and she smiles back at me and replies "Thank you."
"Are you guys going to the party together, as a couple?" Sarah asks and Lyla nods.
"Of course" she says with the widest smile I've ever seen. They must be really happy together.
"Your coming too, right Sarnai?" Lyla asks me.
"Oh umm... I'm not sure." I respond to her.
"You should come, it'll be fun and you'll get to meet more people." Sarah suggests and I nod.
"I'll keep it in mind." I say.
Later on that day....
"You should go to the party." Nixey(spirit animal) tells me.
"I mean I'm thinking about it but... I don't know, I'm not that good at parties. I've always felt awkward." I tell him.
"Well that's because back at your old school, you didn't have friends. At the moment you already have two really good friends. This would be your chance to socialize and meet new people. Have fun for once in your life." Nixey insisted.
"But...." I start to say but I am cut off.
"Listen to ur spirit animal, she has a point." Azula stated.
"How do you even know what we're talking about?" I ask confused.
"My spirit animal is nosy and he tells me everything so..... your conversations most likely won't be that private." She explains as she flips a page in her book, looks at me and smiles.
"Are you going to the party?" I ask Azula. If she goes then I'll go as well, which I'm hoping she doesn't because she isn't very social.
"Everyone goes to the parties here. I go in case something interesting happens. Like fights, drunk people fight over the stupidest shit, it's hilarious." She stated getting off her bed and going towards her closet.
"I guess I'm going then. It can't hurt to give these parties a try." I state and go to my own closet.
We pick out our outfits for tonight and get dressed. Once we are dressed we get to doing our makeup and our hair. By the time we're done with everything, it's already 8PM.
