"Dream?"

"Hi, George."

George jumped up pulling his friend into a hug. The smaller boy looked up at his friend. George had never seen his face before. Dream always wore a mask that ended right below his nose. The only visible part of his face was his mouth. George smiled up at him excited to see the taller's smile again. They stood like this for a while. Dream had had little to no contact with another person in months and he had forgotten how much he enjoyed hugs. Dream broke their silence.

"Are you still mad at me?"

"Dream, I could never stay mad at you. And After today's events, I really don't think you killed Purpled." Dream smiled. That damn smile that made George's heart flutter.

Six months ago, Dream was found next to Purpled's lifeless body while Eret cried for help. Unlike George, Dream tried to fight the mob that chased after him but when he realized there were too many of them he ran off into the woods. George and Sapnap never believed he could do such a thing. George had only known the pair for a few months but during that time the trio had grown close. George could only hope Sapnap still trusted them.

"Come," Dream motioned to George to follow him as he turned walking farther into the forest. "George, what happened?" George shook his head retelling the story to Dream. He listened quietly nodding his head.

"Eret must be up to something."

"What makes you say that?"

"He's framed two of us now George. I don't know why or what he is doing, but it can't be good. Let's not worry about it now. We are almost home."

The two had been walked deeper into the forest. They were a ways away from the SMP. A small wooden cabin could be seen in the distance. It wasn't much but to Dream, it was what he called home. The cabin only had three rooms because Dream needed to build something quick to shield him from the elements. There was a bedroom and a bathroom towards the back of the house and a large room up at the front that housed the kitchen, dining area, and storage that Dream needed. The taller pushed the door open holding it open for George as he walked through.

"It's not much but it's home."

The house was cozy. The sun was beginning to set and sunlight pierced through the windows. Dream bolted the door behind him with a long plank of wood. He didn't want to take any chances whether it was an animal attacking them or an unwanted visitor.

George sat down at the small table looking around. The kitchen seemed well stocked. Opposite the kitchen, the wall was lined with chests and armor stands. A brewing station sat in the corner. Dream placed some chicken in front of the smaller boy. George hadn't even realized Dream had been preparing food for him.

"Thank you," George quickly got to eating. He hadn't realized how hungry he'd been.

_____

"-and here is where we will sleep." Dream had given George a tour of the house. It was a short tour but it gave Dream the opportunity to stand a little too close to George in the small rooms.

"We?"

"Yes, we. I don't have another bed and I don't think you'd like to sleep on the floor. I mean, I am pretty damn good at making floors but they are not comfortable to sleep on. Plus, the bed is big enough for the two of us." George shrugged

"Well I'm convinced," George flopped down on the bed, "and tired."

"Get some rest Gogy, it's been an eventful day." Dream chuckled, throwing a blanket over the boy who was already falling asleep.

Dream made his way out to his brewing station. He'd needed to go to the nether soon to get more blaze rods and trade with some piglins. As much as he'd love to let George wear his clothes all the time, they would be too big. Dream smiled at the thoughts of George wearing his clothes. When Dream first met George he kept telling himself he couldn't be gay that it was just a phase. He had mostly forgotten about his feelings but seeing George again today reignited his confusion. His want for George seemed more powerful. The blonde couldn't get over how beautiful he looked. He took a few shaky breaths trying to calm himself down. He'd be sleeping next to George tonight and he couldn't let the smaller know about his feelings just yet. He needed to stay behind the wall he had built. The last time he loved someone his life was flipped upside down. He couldn't do that to George or himself again. He bit his lip trying to focus on something else. He had to stop thinking about George so much or he was going to have a bigger problem at hand.

Chapter 2! Hope you guys enjoyed. A bit of a shorter chapter but I didn't want to combine the second and third and make it really long.
