Y/N POV
After we finished hiking, we all assembled at the main gathering spot by 12, thats when we were supposed to leave, we were going back today, hyunjin and I made sure we got into the bus together on time so it wouldn't happen like last time.
"okay kids, its 12pm, as per the attendance we've got everyone here and I think we are ready to leave, thank you for obeying the instructions and being obedient, hope you enjoyed this short trip, and hyunjin my dear hope you enjoyed your very first trip with this school" "yes ma'am, it was great, y/n made me feel really comfortable, thanks to her" he smiled and gave me a nudge "aww okay, hope you get along well with the others too, okay kids the buses are here, now patiently get into the bus and take your seat I'll be there in 10"
Hyunjin and I got into the bus, we sat in the last two seats, this time jungkook had gone into the other bus.
hyunjin and I spoke for an hour until he fell asleep. I looked out of the window and thought "jungkook hasn't pestered me or teased me ever since hyunjin came, he hasn't even spoken to me and it actually feels really weird, I just remember sharing the same seats on the way to the trip and I fell asleep on his shoulder I g-guess?, was it really selfish of me to not acknowledge his presence? I mean he wouldn't feel bad right, he hates me, so not talking to him should make him happier right? Jungkook has been so quite, We may be enemies but yes I truly love him and it hurts to see him like that, the very funny, annoying, loud, cute coconut haired guy is barely even talking, I bet he won't even tell me what's wrong if I ask him pfft"
We finally reached our school, I woke hyunjin up and we got down, the other bus arrived as well, from here we all could go home, some were waiting for their transport and some students walked home.
I went to my friends, I spoke to them for a bit, we spoke about our trip "OoOO So you slept on jUngKoOk's shoulderr" ryujin said wiggling her eyebrows, "quit it guys!" I said laughing. We all spoke until we thought it was time for us to go home.
------------AUTHOR'S POV----------
After hyunjin came, Y/n and hyunjin started being really good friends it had been about a month. hyunjin and y/n's dad even worked in the same office and were good friends which led to hyunjin and y/n meeting more often other than school like cafes, arcades etc.
on the other hand, jungkook missed y/n terribly inspite of sitting right behind her and seeing her everyday. He would try to tease her or prank her to get a response so they start bickering like they used to , but now whenever he pranks her, she just lets it go and doesn't talk much about it.
At home things weren't going right, his parents kept fighting, being the only kid he had no one to go to, he did speak to his hyungs and at this point they were the only ones who kept him going. they knew about hyunjin and Y/n as well and always comforted him.
