Pacha and I decided the best thing to do was to at least look for Kuzco. We don't know what happened, but knowing Kuzco, if he overheard something he definitely ran away from Yzma and Kronk. As we continued looking for him, we found that he had left Pacha's sweater at a lookout. It would have had a perfect scene of the palace but obviously, Kuzco was sad about it. We came across a field of llamas and we were pretty sure we heard one groaning. If we were right about the llama groaning, it was probably Kuzco.

We had walked down to the herd of llamas and sat down around them after noticing a certain red and black haired llama, who was hesitantly munching on some grass. We sat down and Pacha started on this long monologue about Kuzco's growth as a human/llama and how he truly is good. The story certainly caught Kuzco's attention. I started feeding a llama some grass as Kuzco walked over to us.

"You enjoying the Peruvian Feather Grass?" I asked, smiling at Kuzco. Kuzco tears up a bit and then all of a sudden jumps at Pacha and me, giving us one big hug. I'm pretty sure Kuzco was full on crying now.

"Hey listen, you two, you know what I said back at the diner, that-that wasn't very...I- I didn't really," Kuzco tries to explain but Pacha put his hand up, and I merely smiled.

"So...you tired of being a llama?" Pacha asked. Kuzco sniffles.

"Yeeeeesssss" Kuzco whines. He sniffs again just for effect. Pacha looks at me, and he gives me a nod.

"You better be ready to run, hotshot," I said smiling.

~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~
"Okay, we're just going to stop at the house and get some supplies," Pacha explains, hurriedly, as we race through the bush, coming to the outskirts of the village.
"Then we'll be on our way, right?" Kuzco asked, running alongside me.
"Right."
We ran into the village and started up the steps until Agastya and Camdo, who were playing checkers stopped us in our tracks.
"Hey there, Pacha, (y/n). You just missed your relatives, Pacha," One of them explained. I couldn't really tell because I was focusing on not running into Pacha who was quite surprised.
"My relatives?" Pacha asked.
"Yeah, we just sent them up to your house," the other one explained.
"What did they look like?" I asked, concerned.
"Well, you see, there was this big guy and this older woman who was...how would you describe her?" He said, and then turned to the other guy, who answered and confirmed my suspicion.
"Uhh, scary beyond all reason," the other guy answered, then moving his red checker piece to an open spot.
"Yeah, that's it," the first man pointed out. The boys then raced up the steps and I was about to follow when I took one of the black checkers and hopped over four red checkers in a row, basically winning the game for black.
"Thanks, (y/n)!" one of them called as I ran back up the stairs.
"That's the last time we play checkers when she's around," the other man said. He's just sore because he lost. I raced up the steps and finally caught up with Pacha and Kuzco. Pacha was explaining to Chica what was going on and very quickly, might I add.
"Hi Aunt Chicha!" I said, putting on a happy face to try and convince to allow me to go with Pacha knowing that she might protest, but I highly doubt it.
"Hi there!" Kuzco said, popping up from under the window. Chicha, reacting on instinct, grabbed a soapy frying pan and wacked Kuzco in the face. I would have laughed if I wasn't that shocked. I thought she was over that reaction by now. Oh well.
"That was him," Pacha sighed.
"Oh," Chicha said, guilty, but not too sorry, "Whoops."
"Go, I'll stall them long enough to give you guys a head start," Chicha stated.
"Thanks, honey," Pacha said, giving her a kiss to the forehead.
"That's enormously sweet, but we kind of have to go..right now," I said, trying to make Kuzco less dizzy.
"You have a lovely wife, they are both very pretty," Kuzco said, standing up still dizzy. Pacha grabbed him in time to run before Chicha caught all of it.
"Hey, you are cute, have we met before?" Kuzco asked me, still hallucinating. I smiled, blushed profusely, and then slapped him across the face. "That's one way to do that, but firstly, owwwwwwwww!" he said to me as I rolled my eyes, and we continued running. "Hey, was it a good idea to leave your family with those two?" Kuzco asked.
"Oh, puh-lease, Chicha raised me and just hit you with a frying pan, they will be perfectly fine. If anything the two trying to kill you are going to be in a heck of a lot of trouble," I answered.
Narrator's pov
Chicha was beside a closet with Kronk and Yzma stuck inside it. Tipo and Chaca were giggling as Chicha tried to (ahem) help them.
"What do you mean the door's stuck? Try jiggling the handle," Chica said, sarcastically.
"There isn't a handle here," Yzma growled from inside the dark closet.
"Oh, there's not?" Chicha asked, innocently, when really she was proudly smirking and tossing a black door knob.
