ugh. school. it's my first day of school since i moved here and i already hate it.
"harriet! get ready and downstairs for breakfast!" my mum shouts.
"coming!" i slowly slip out of bed and turn to my uniform on my desk, i put my jumper and school shirt on along with my trousers and turned to my mirror. i looked a mess. i grabbed my pink small bag from my desk and applied some lip gloss then brushed my hair,
i sighed and exited my room. my mum was already sat down, reading the newspaper.
"Hi mum" i said while sighing.
"Hi darling, are you ready for school?"
"yes i think so." i said grinning while my mum smiled.
"you'll be fine harriet, i promise." she said, looking back down at her newspaper. "your dad would be proud of you, you know love."
"he would?" i asked hopefully.
"of course, you're the luckiest thing that's ever happened to me sweetheart."
"
thanks mum." i smiled and turned to my cereal.—————————————————-
i watched out of the car window as the houses went by. i was nervous. very nervous. what if everyone hates me? what if i make no friends? "stop it harriet you're over thinking" i said to my self.
"we're almost here." my mum said.
"great." i say muttering under my breath.
we arrived and the school looked quite old and ugly, everyone was in class by the looks of it which means i have to make an entrance. why me?
i entered the school and went to find the receptionist while my mum waited outside in her car. the hallways where small and eerie, yet it's weirdly cozy.
"hello, you must be harriet?" a teacher by the looks of it looked down at me and smiles.
"yes, do you know where i should go? i'm lost."
she chuckles "yes, my names mrs fletcher, i'll take you to your first class now, don't worry you'll be fine, follow me." she grins and i follow behind her.
we reach a plain looking classroom door and mrs fletcher knocks on the door. "come in" i hear a male teacher call from inside.
mrs fletcher opens the door and a class of about 25 looks up to me aswell as the teacher of the class.
"miss harriet here is new and this is her new form, 9MN say hi to harriet and welcome her it's her first day." mrs fletcher smiles.
"Hello harriet" the classroom cooed. i nodded my head and sat in the nearest desk. mrs fletcher leaves and my teacher looks down at me.
"Hi harriet my names mr davies, i'm your form tutor and this is your class, we'll all get in a circle and say our names." i nodded and watched as everyone got up and made a circle.
first boy was a boy with platinum blonde hair and he had a bright smile. "hi my names tom, tom felton."
i smiled "hi tom" he smiled too and nodded.
the class scoffed and giggled a little then a girl glared at him. i gave her a dirty look.
"next" the teacher said. the girl got up and introduced herself.
"hi my names Isabelle Corney" she sneered at tom and me, i just looked away. i didn't want to cause any more trouble, it's my only first day. i looked back over to tom and his eyes where red and dilated like he was about to cry. i felt bad but shook it off. "stop it harriet. he can deal with himself" i told my self. but it came off more like persuading.
class went on, and i was already so bored and over this whole school thing. i had no friends. i had no one to talk to. i'm alone. although there was tom but i'd be bullied if i even looked at him and i had no idea why, he looks so sweet and nice.

it's lunch now and i have no one to sit next to. "how sad is this" i thought. i went to the canteen and got food then sat down alone. i watched as the popular kids and Isabelle sat down, they then glared at me and i scowled under my breath but looked away so they didn't see. as i looked away i saw tom walk in the canteen. he looked pale and sat down with a packed lunch in his hand. his left eye looked red like someone had punched him really hard. i felt bad. "do i go over there?" i thought to myself. i made my mind up and walked over to toms table.
"hi" i said a little shy.
"hi, you're harriet aren't you?" he smiled a little.
"yeah i'm new as you know" i chuckled "can i sit?"
he nodded and i placed my bag on the floor then my food on the table.
"what happened to your eye?" i asked.
he sniffled "bullies i guess" he nervously laughed it off and began eating.
"why? what's so bad about you to have to punch you?" i said almost in a whisper.
"they think i'm weird. because i love drama and acting so much. i'm an outsider, i guess" he laughed again but shook his head in almost disapproval.
"it's okay i think that's cool, who knows you might be famous when you're older." i winked at him.
he laughed this time. an actual real laugh. "you're funny." he said.
i shrugged then smirked. "who's to say you won't?"
he smiled at me and i smiled back.

after school my mum picked me up and we went back home, i got in and went straight to my room.
today wasn't that bad after lunch, mainly because i have tom by my side, he's honestly the sweetest boy i've ever met and such a great friend, i feel terrible people bully him for something that he loves to do.
ugh that Isabelle is such a bitch i don't understand how she has friends. i heard she was the one that told a boy in my class to punch tom, i swear if i catch anyone lay hands on him i will go crazy. i laughed to myself on how possessive i was being and how stupid i sounded.
"harriet! tea time!!" i heard my mum shout.
i shot downstairs and to the kitchen, it was a roast dinner. "mum it's Monday you know, not Sunday" i laugh.
"yeah i know" she grinned.
"but thank you it looks so good." i smiled and tucked in attacking the food.
she nodded and headed to the living room and left me with my thoughts.
