August looked up with a smile across his fave. "How been ma". "Ignored him n quickly grabbed a napkin. Diamond wrote her number and got up. They looked at each other. Something came over August as he wrapped his arms around her in a big grip and lightly kissed her. She pulled in.
Diamond jumped with a confused face and slid the napkin in his pocket. She hid her face and went walked away blushing, n hurt.

I shouldn't have kissed him, but I missed him. I have a boyfriend named Kerk who would beat me if he found out. I never felt a kiss like that in years. I don't know what happen but it felt good. I had a spark and I wondered if her did too.
I put on my coat n went through the back door. It's was getting late so I got in my car n sped home before Kerk got back.
I walked in n turned on the lights, beginning to cook. Ever since woke I jus couldn't stop thinking about August. I know we really didn't talk in highschool but, I did have a theme for him. That's why I couldn't look or even speak to him. "Damn", I mummbled. I let out a quick sigh n began cooking some chicken.
"Bae did u cook", Kerk shouted. Diamond rushed over and kissed his face. Kerk pushed her away and sat at the table.
Diamond ate and looked up at him. She noticed he smelt like weed, and couldn't stand his lies. She really didn't know where he went everyday.
Her phone range with a number she didn't recognize. Before she answered, Kerk grabbed her wrist n gripped it. "Don't answer it", n said. It went silent while there was a text. "Who is he", Kerk sad getting angry.
