Background

Kageyama and Hinata are dating they have been for 5 months yama (sorry it's either going to be yamma or yams) has had a crush on hinata for awhile before he and kageyama started dating but never said anything because he was scared

Hinata was riding his bike to school in his bag he had some flowers and Kageyama favorite milk because today is their 6 month anniversary

Kageyama is only dating hinata because he made a bet with some of his friends he doesn't actually love Hinata he is just using him Kageyama has been cheating on Hinata

Hinata knew Kageyama was distant but thought he was just busy because he refuses to think Kageyama is cheating on him Hinata believes he loves him

Hinata has caught Kageyama kissing a girl but Kageyama said "she kissed me I didn't kiss back" Hinata believed him and didn't think much of it

Yama is waiting at the gate for a certain tangerine so he can show him what his so called boyfriend is doing behind his back

Yama knew Kageyama was cheating he even tried to tell Hinata but he just brushed him off because he didn't have proof Yama first found out he was cheating he was relieved but sad at the same time

Yama has always had a small crush on Hinata but he was to scared to tell him his true feelings so before he could tell him how he felt Kageyama asked him out and of course he said yes

Hinata just arrived at school parking his bike he noticed Yama standing by the school gates he quickly runs over to him and greets him asking why he is by his self

"Shoyo I have something to show you"

Hinata heart dropped knowing whatever Yama wanted to show him was something serious he only calls him by his first name if matters are important

"Of course l-lead the w-way"

Hinatas mind running with thoughts trying to hope for something positive and not negative thinking something good could happen but no matter how hard he tried negative thoughts came back circling his mind

Yama lead the way to the back of the school with Hinata following close behind him as the arrive Yama took Hinatas hand giving it a light squeeze letting him know he is here for the tangerine no matter what

Hinata looks at Yama and Yama points in the direction where Kageyama is groping a girl Hinata turns his head in that direction as he sees his "boyfriend" making out with yet another girl

Hinata eyes begin to water as he looks at the scene in front of him thinking what he did to deserve this he lets go of Yamas hand and pulls out his gifts for is "boyfriend" and walks over to Kageyama

Hinata throws the gifts at him Kageyama eyes widen let's go of the girl and turns to see a crying Hinata with flowers and milk on the ground

"H-happy anniversary"

Kageyama didn't know what to do or say he looked Hinata in the eyes and saw how much he hurt the smaller boy it made his heart hurt knowing he was the one who caused such pain

"Hinata i-its not what it looks l-like"

Kageyama started walking closer to Hinata reaching out his hand Hinata backed up Kageyama saw this and was hurt behind words he had hurt the one person who loved him and it killed him on the inside he did this he caused him this pain

"D-dont t-touch me"

Hinata mind racing with thoughts on why Kageyama would do this do him on their anniversary he knew deep down he was cheating but pushed the feeling down because he "loves" him

"Let m-me explain p-please"

Yama stood by watching the whole thing play out in front of him he had tears prickle his eyes he thought it was unfair to Hinata what did Hinata do to deserve this kind of pain

Yama hated seeing Hinata like this in pain not understanding what is happening and why it's happening to him he looked so confused and scared and Yama couldn't do anything to help

"No I d-dont w-want to h-ear it Kageyama"

Kageyama heart  broke Hinata never used is full name it was always Kages or babe hot tears rolled down Kageyama face he couldn't help but cry thinking he could make things better

"Hinata p-please I'm b-b-begging y-ou"

Hinata wiped his tears but no matter what he did they just kept flowing he looked at Kageyama one more time before turning around jogging over to Yama looking for any kind of support

Yama saw Hinata jogging towards him he opens his arms to Hinata letting him know he is here for him Hinata jumps on Yama wrapping his legs around Yamas waist Yama put his hands under Hinatas thighs turning away from Kageyama leaving for his house

Kageyama fell to his knees crying he began sobbing the girl he was making out with just left like nothing happened she didn't really care Kageyama couldn't stop crying he had hurt the one person who actually loved and cared for him he let him slip away because of his selfishness

Yama carried Hinata all the way to his house Hinata continued to cry but was only quite sobs here and there Yama pushed the door open to his house he didn't care if he skips school he only wants Hinata better and he will be there for the shorter male

Yama closed the door behind him walking to his room he slowly walks in his room and sets Hinata down on the bed Yama slips his and Hinatas shoes off

Climbing into the bed behind Hinata pulling him to his chest Yama begins to run his fingers through Hinatas hair to calm the smaller male down

After a few minutes Yama hears small snores and looks down to see Hinata sleeping he kisses the too of his forehead

"I'm sorry you had to go through that Hinata, just know I will always be here for you I love you"

Hinata was awake and heard what Yama said and couldn't help but smile at his words causing butterflies in his stomach

"I love you too yams"

With that both boys fall asleep in each other's arms wanting to never let go
