As they day went on, I was still thinking about what Brianna told me about Aaron,Cassie, And Ashlyn. Part of me was disgusted but then the other part of me longed to be popular, like them.
When the day was over, I went to my locker only to find a note stuck to the front. I took it off the locker curiously and opened it. It was from..Aaron..
"Meet me at the rooftop?" I read confused in my mind.
"What does he want?" I thought to myself.
Honestly, I wasn't planning on meeting him. After what Brianna told me, I wasn't going close to those bullies and drama. But I didn't know what would happen if I didn't go, Would it be a sign of weakness? Would I get humiliated? Thoughts ran through my head.
I sighed, deciding that I would go.
When I arrived at the rooftop, Aaron was already there.
"Well hello" Aaron said grinning.
"Uh, Hi." I replied, trying to sound more brave than I actually was.
"You don't have to be shy, Not around me" Aaron said.
It's like he could read my mind. It's like he knew what I was feeling..
"I-I'm not shy. What gave you that impression?" I responded, clearly lying.
He gave me the same smirk.
There was a moment of silence. We both just stared at each other as if the world stopped.
"Come with me" Aaron said, holding out a hand.
