"T-talk to me?" I said in a sarcastic surprised tone.
"You got me grounded." I said stating the obvious.
"Look, I'm sorry. My intentions were never to get you in trouble with your mom. But hey, We had fun right?" He responded.
"Well, We did have lots of fun." I said letting my guard down.
We both just sat in silence for a minute.
"I gotta finish unpacking my stuff." I say as I motion towards my room.
"Y-yeah." Aaron responds.
I wave bye to him and he waves back.
I close the window and return to my room and sighed as I looked down at the suitcase.

The next day, I woke up early as I remembered the events the occurred last night. I tried to piece together what my plan for the day was before retiring from that plan and heading to the bathroom to shower.
When I was through cleaning myself and trying to make myself look less tired, I went to my closet to pick out an outfit.

By the time I was dressed and ready for school, I had at least half an hour to eat a bowl of cereal or just scrap together whatever I could find.
I managed to find an apple and a water bottle. Not what I was expecting but it would have to do. I don't know how I imagined we would have food because we never went to the grocery store. So much for cereal.

When I arrived at school, Immediately noticed Brianna walking towards me. Due to all the people, she had to squeeze through people just to get me.
When she finally reached me, I let out a laugh.
"Whats so funny?" Brianna asked. "If the people would have just moved so I could get by.." Brianna began and then stopped.
Aaron was coming up to us.
"Hey Dahlia" Aaron said, appearing behind me.
"Oh uh..hey" I said turning around.
Brianna just stared at us in a confused way.
"I was wondering if you were free this afternoon to go to the coffee shop with me." He said smiling.
Brianna looked at Aaron and her expression changed to an emotionless face.
"Oh uhm.. I don't know.." I responded, scratching the back of my head.
"I had studying to do and.." I was cut off.
Aaron leaned in to my face and whispered.
"I'll take that as a yes."
I kind of just looked down. I had to study but I felt I couldn't say no.
"Alright" I mumbled.
"I'll see you later" Aaron said in a flirtatious sort of tone.
Brianna just stared at Aaron with her mouth slightly open.
"D-did he just..?" Brianna stuttered.
"Ask me out?" I said finishing her sentence.
"Oh y-yeah." She said snapping out of her trance and focusing on me.
"I guess so" I said looking at his back as he walked away.
"But I can't go." I sighed.
"Why not?" Brianna asked bringing hair out of her face.
"I'm grounded. If I go out, I'm going to be in even more trouble." I replied. "Well..uh.." Brianna seemed at a loss for words. "I just won't go." I said calmly. "B-but you don't want to pass up this opportunity!" She exclaimed. "What opportunity? To go on a date with him?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows. Brianna laughed. And I stifled a laugh. I sighed and smiled. "I guess I'll go." I defeated. "Good choice." Brianna said, smiling and putting a hand on my shoulder. Suddenly, the bell rang. "We better get to class. Don't want to be late!" I said, walking ahead of Brianna. "Hey wait up!" She exclaimed.

After class..
Me and Brianna came out of the classroom gossiping and laughing. "Did you see that hair-do?! It was like, 3 stories high!" Brianna laughed. "I saw it! It was hilarious!" I said laughing. Just then, Ashlyn Rivera came up to me. "Dahlia." She said, crossing her arms. "Yes?" I asked confused. "Stay away from Aaron. He's my boyfriend and what your doing is just..wrong." She said. I noticed her eyes were watering. "Are you okay..?" I asked, lowering my guard. "I'm fine. In fact, I'm great." She grinned. Then she walked off and joined Cassie and..no Aaron. "That girl is plotting something.." Brianna said suspiciously. "Well I guess keep a sharp eye." I said sarcastically. She laughed silently as we walked off to our lockers.
