I made this cover 2 years ago and have recently changed it as I thought that I could make it look better and the title made no sense to me anymore, so I scrapped it and went for "Sea Witch"!
I make my covers by taking various images and bringing them together to match the conceptual idea in my head.
I used to play a lot of character creators when I was younger as it was pretty therapeutic. Creating my own character on the cover is similar except I don't have the limitations of a given preset. It can be pretty fun!
The concept before was based on the Aquaman movie, however I decided to go further and do a prequel of Leora's life before Justice League instead.
