A Fujoshi Fairy Tale

I had already set up the camera in the tower. Once I get out of the tower, I pull out my phone and connect it to the camera. Now I can watch and hear everything that happens inside the tower.

As I'm watching the camera, I see something move. The door has flung open, and Prince Nanashima is standing in the doorway. Prince Iagarashi turns around to face him, looking surprised.

"Prince Nanashima? What are you doing here?" Prince Igarashi asks.

I may have not told him that Prince Nanashima would be coming to rescue him...

"Prince Igarashi? What the heck? Where's the princess that I'm supposed to be saving?" Prince Nanashima asks, equally surprised.

"This is so weird... Princess Serinuma didn't tell me that you'd be coming." Prince Igarashi says, trying to figure out what's going on.

"Yeah... well, I didn't know you'd be here... I just came to rescue Princess Serinuma."

No no no! This is going all wrong! They need to forget about me and focus on each other!

"Yes, well, she was here a moment ago, but she just left. She told me to stay here, though. I guess she wanted me to wait here for you." Prince Igarashi says.

"I guess so... well, shall we head back to my palace together? I was supposed to bring Princess Serinuma, but I guess if you're here, then I can just bring you." Prince Nanashima says, holding out his hand to Prince Igarashi yo help him up.

Yesssssss this is perfect! Maybe when Prince Igarashi takes Prince Nanashima's hand, they'll fall in love!

I watch as Prince Igarashi grabs Prince Nanashima's hand. Oooh, this is the perfect time for a cliche...

And my wish was granted! Prince Igarashi stands, but trips, and falls onto Prince Nanashima, who catches him. Ahhhh their faces are so close together! I can see their blushes from here! Maybe they've finally realised their true feelings for each other...

Prince Igarashi takes a step back. "Ah, sorry about that, Prince Nanashima. Shall we get going now?"

"Yes, there's an emergency staircase right this way." Prince Nanashima says.

Oh no, they're coming this way! And now that they've left the tower, I won't be able to watch them through my camera! I suppose I'll just have to watch from the bushes...

I decide to hide behind a tree near the entrance to the tower. Prince Nanashima's palace is north of here,  so they should be walking down the path to the left once they exit the tower. Since there are tons of bushes and undergrowth along that path, I should be able to watch everything that happens.

I watch as the two princes exit the tower and begin their journey on the north path. They're walking side by side in silence, and I'm starting to get bored. And that is why I get excited when I see what's blocking the path ahead.

Monsters. A whole group of them. They're not terribly strong, so the princes should be able to handle it, but I'm excited to see who protects who. Will Prince Nanashima come to Prince Igarashi's rescue, or will Prince Igarashi save Prince Nanashima?

It's time to find out! The princes have reached the monster camp. The monsters noticed them first, and ran forwards to attack them. Prince Nanashima jumped in front of Prince Igarashi, his sword drawn.

"Igarashi, stay back!" Prince Nanashima shouted.

Ooh, he didn't call him Prince Igarashi, he just called him by his name! How will Prince Igarashi react?
