It took some time for tommy to relize that the silent argument had been postponed in favor of silently eating. Still he didn't want to intrude on anything so he kept quiet, noting that niki kept looking at him. Must be pity. At the 6th time she looked to the side at him, the boy got annoyed and snapped "Why do you keep staring at me niki."
She froze not expecting him to be so blunt. "Well..... I just, if schlatt didn't give you those bruses then where did they come from. Most of your wounds from the festival should have healed by now, and I know that manBurge hasn't been in any fights recently."

At her words every one tensed up. Dream and schlatt knew Vaguely that tommy was abused, the kid not telling them anysort of detail but finally started to Acknowledging that he had been treated poorly and that he didn't need to be hit, still it was a slight shock to them whenever it was brought up because they still can't wrap their heads around the kid being hurt in the backround.

Tommy quickly brushed off his spiking anxiety and looked towards his food and forces out a grin. "Its nothing to bad, had a few nasty spills in pogtopia, nothing a big man like me can't handle." She starred at the boy knowing it was a lie. After a couple seconds of him resisting kind words the pinkette put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a warm look, a trusting face. tommy kepted his eyes trained on his food, looking at his older sister figure before sighing and giving up. "Nothing to bad happened. I was fucking everything up and techno got a couple good hits to the stomach for almost getting everyone killed. It stays in the pit..... besides, looking back I deserved it......and it was only one time anyways, so nothing to worry about."

As he spoke as everyone went silent. Not the type of stuff you would want to hear from a kid, but the first look anyone has gotten into his family. nikki questioned how bad the Definitely not a one time beating had been for him to be so quiet. Not meek but not brash, still able to joke but he was constantly nervous now. Scarry thoughts danced intrusively around her head that makes her want to cry, why a kid, why him why did no one stop it.

She pulled him into a soft hug that made the kid tear up on the verg of crying. And she could find only one thing to say, one thing that made toms, sweet innocent tommy cry his heart out at words he has never hear of. She's still suspicious of schlatt not darring to give him a inch, but mabey with the fact schlatt looked at tommy with a sliver of kindness she's never seen from him, this will be a safe space for him. Hopefully.

[Not me realizing that this is more like vent writting then a story. Its 7 26 in the morning and I will forever hate waking up at 3 34 now. Thankyou Migraines, you are a pleasure to have and a wonderful entity to put me to sleep at 8 in the evening.
