Something has been off in manburge and it's starting to scare him. The practically reckt country has Not been the usual strict cold violence that his boss exuded into the slightly sooty air but rather a more calm, accepting yet awkward aura that leaves the fox puzzled. It all came to a head the day schlatt came into the meeting room (and not them going to his office) sweaty, in pain from what looks to be running but trying to keep some sort of cool. The meeting itself was very weird and confusing witch consisted with making manburge safer and kinder, removing tommys exile officially and easing on niki's taxes, stuff that schlatt would never do. Still fundy never said anything, just jotted it down in his note book and start investigating. But that will be after he rest.

The next day fundy got up early. He didn't know where to start so he wondered around untill he spotted niki walking out of her bakery looking stressed and furious. Walking up Niki spotted him and huffed a sigh of relief pulling him into a small hug before saying hi. "Hey niki! What are you doing out this early I don't see you out of the bakery that much."
Niki's shoulders slumped and she sighed again. "I'm going over to schlatts home right now. He forced me into a deal to reduce my tax if I cook for his lazy ass." "Oh so is that why you have bread with you? Can I have some!" Niki crakes a smile and handsome him a loaf before turning around and walking away. After a few minutes fundy started to the presidents house and wait for the pinkette to walk out, find a confy spot I some bushes.

It took a few hours for her to walk out and during that fundy sat In confusion as he saw bbh skeppy sapnap and gorge walk to the door as a group. Bbh knocked and somone opened the door. He wasn't in the best position to see the door but he could hear what sounded like tommy welcoming the group and letting them in. Fundy already knew tommy is allowed back in manburge, not being one of the people to see him but being told by jackmanifold that tommy was walking around with the goat man. Never in his wildest dreams would he have figured the man that has time and time again ran him ragged and stomp on his generosity would take in the kid he deemed problematic, and it's scaring him even more with how much things feel like they changed practically over night.

Niki finally walked out after 2 hours with a wide smile on her face and a basket full of steak and chicken. Closing the door and with a bit more of a skip to her step she went to pass by fundys Bush before she was tackled and dragged into the hiding place. "What the hell!"
"Hey niki!"
"Hey funndy, jeez that scared me!" The boy let out a small fox like cackle before asking about what happened in the house.

Picking self up she started walking with the boy following at her side. "If I'm being honest, not what I was expecting, tommy had been the one to open the door." Nikki shakes her head and chuckles then frowns as she talked "God I was so scared that somthing happened that i started checking him over right there. Fundy, the kid had bruses and so so many scars"  "you know, from schlatt.... I'm not suprised. I mean its been awhile but the man had gotten a pretty clean hit on my ribs about 3 days before tommy was unexiled" (day before tommy ran away)

The pinkette sighed rubing her hands across her face, realizing she forgot one detail. "Fundy- schlatt hasn't even laid a hand on him, tommy was even allowed freinds over." "Then who brused him if it wasn't schlatt!?" Fundy snaps hus head over from ranting to the sky to staring at a ever increasingly angry nikki, a rare sight to see on a kind women and fundy huff and puts a hand on her shoulder and waits for her to calm down.

"...... Tommy even said it was his fault he got hit, lying that it wasn't bad or reoccurring. Fundy, his own brother broke and brused skin just to prove a point! I went in with tommy to fight that goat but i end up finding out that my FUCKING BESTFREIND is hurting a child I consider as my little brother!"

Fundy stood shell shocked and muttered a holy shit, slowly pushing niki to the bakery. The Walk was very awkward, with only niki muttering about how she's lost all trust in will and fundy humming in agreement.

Now fundy has a dilemma, a very scary dilemma. He's been collecting information for his father, knowing the man most likely sees him as a traitorous son (why would that be the first thing he thought his dad would think). Now that he was just about to show his old man the hard work he put into his cause, things move, and change. Now his uncle (more of a father then his own) is seeking refuge with his cold boss...... a not so cold boss anymore.

One thing fundy knows is that he needs to get more information before he goes back on the move.
