Thomas is in some kind of a box in the ground with a bunch of boys looking down at him. He's looking around outside and sees that the whole place is surrounded by walls. 

,,What is this place?" 

The price of your greed
Is your son and your daughter
What you gon' do
When there's blood in the water?

,,We only have three rules but most importantly, never go beyond those walls."

Thomas looks back into the maze and wind blows in his face.

,,What is that?" Lydia asks

,,It a maze that is all around the glade." Thomas explains and Lydia nods.

,,The glade?" Noah asks while contemplating is he can destroy the people who put his son in there. As he looks over he sees that Peter looks very mad. Maybe he can team up with him. 

,,It's what we called the place." Minho explains confused as to why the sheriff seems so calm. 

,,Welcome to the glade." Alby says.

He falls onto the ground as someone laughs.

,,Can you tell me your name?" Alby's crouching down into the makeshift prison the gladers call the slammer.

,,I- I can't remember anything." Thomas says, worried.

,,What do you mean by that?" 

,,Well when I got to WCKD they erased my memories. But I got them back when I returned to Beacon Hills." 

,,They can do that?" Scott asks slightly afraid. 

,,The technology is more advanced there." 

Look me in my eyes
Tell me everything's not fine

,,Why can't I remember anything?" He's almost panicking. 

,,It's okay." Alby's reassuring him

The gladers are standing at the entrance of the maze, looking worried

Next the video shows Newt and Thomas talking while sitting behind a fallen tree. 

At the sight of Newt, Thomas' breath hitches. 

,,It's the maze. Changing." Thomas only looks confused.

At the faces the pack is giving Thomas, Minho explains the maze so they will focus on him and not Thomas on the verge of tears. 

,,The maze that was around the glade changed overnight. That's why it took us so long to get out."

,,How long?" Derek has a bad feeling as he asks this.

Minho takes a deep breath. ,,Three years." 

Nobody says anything but they don't need to. Their faces betray it all. 

You thought you could go free
But the system is done for
If you listen real closely
There's a knock at your front door

Ben is swaying on his feet and he looks strange. He's then pushed beyond the walls of the maze with long sticks and he can be seen through the gap as the walls close with him inside.
