Walker made it to the site of the helicopter crash. "Oh... Shit..." Said Walker. He realized that the street where Lugo was lynched was close.

"Gonna pay your respects, Captain?" Asked Lugo's ghost. "After all, you are the one who set off everything that lead to my death there."

Walker stumbled to the street. He looked around at the dead bodies around Lugo's body. Then Adams' apparition appeared.

"Felt good, didn't it?"

"What?" asked Walker in a trance. Adams gave him a look.
"Killing those fuckers for what they did to Lugo. It sure as hell felt good to me."

Lugo's image appeared.
"We were supposed to save these people." Adams looked over to Lugo.
"They didn't deserve it after what they did to you. I have no remorse for these damned savages." Lugo replied:
"That doesn't mean they deserved to die! Walker, tell him!"
"Come on, Martin, weigh in on this!

Walker's head started to hurt. After a few more minutes of this supernatural debate, Walker finally snapped.
"Enough! You're both right, but you're also both wrong. Lugo, that WAS our mission and we fucked it up. Adams wouldn't have shot them if I didn't too. Adams, our hatred for the refugees was not unfounded. I hate we killed civilians but we reacted like anybody else would... But we gave up our chance to be the bigger men."

The two spirits disappeared before Walker's eyes. He looked back at Lugo's body, and noticed the body was placed in a resting position, handled with care.
"Somebody was here." He then looked for Lugo's dog tags. He wondered if they had been lost in the crash or ripped off by a pissed off lyncher. He then left.
