Chapter 10-Remembering My Past

I run as fast as I could to get away from that place.

Nobody was following me which means I'm safe for the time being.

"If i lay my hands on you again,you will be dead!!!!"

The words keep echoing in my head.

I was scared and didn't know what to do.

I was paying for a crime I didn't commit.💔

"What will I do now?" was the question on my mind.

I was lucky I was able to escape from being killed by his men.I was at the chance of losing my life and not seeing my mom and dad,best friend and brother.

All of a sudden I felt my body being in contact with the ground. I fainted.

The next thing I remembered was being in the hospital.

My mom was sitting next to the bed I was lying on and my brother holding my hand and weeping.

I couldn't say a word..it was like I had been put on mute.I couldn't move...it was like I was paralysed.

All I wanted to tell them was"I'm alright no need to worry about me.I Love You❤." Just this words😪...For once I lost hope.

When my  brother saw that I had awoken,he  went to call the doctor. The doctor came in and prescribed some medicines for me.

He said I shouldn't stress myself....I should take my meds on time and some stuffs.

Then all of a sudden I said,"Mom,Miles"i started to shed tears,"I'm going to be ok,right?"

"Yes baby,you are going to be alright."she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"I love you so much."

"We love you to Es."she said using my pet name."We'll be waiting outside. Change then we will go home."

I noded.

I changed. We were about to leave then we were greeted by Police Men.

"We only want to ask a few questions then you can leave."A fair coloured man spoke.

"B-but what have we done?"I asked nervous.

"The doctor who was assigned to take care of you reported a case. We interviewed both your mom and brother and they answered all our questions. Now it's your turn miss."He said.

"W-well I have nothing to s-say."I smiled nervously.

"I don't think so."A tall dark man spoke.

"What do you want to ask me?"

"Few questions miss."

I looked at my mom and then my brother.They both noded and I left with the police men.

They asked me some few questions which I answered truthfully and they asked me to describe the people who kidnapped me.

I couldn't tell them cause I made a Promise not to reveal his name nor his identify to anybody.

"Can i withdraw the case." This was all I could get out from my mouth.

"Don't you want us to arrest that man?"he asked.

"No need,I'm fine now."I smiled,"And besides they kidnapped the wrong person."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes...that is why they freed me."I stood up.

"Oh,then we are sorry for the inconvenience."We handshake.

"Make sure to get well. If there is by any chance something happens don't hesitate to call us."

"Sure."I said and exited the doors.

Hah! Days went by quickly...I was well in no time. But still My Past keeps hunting me.😪
