Riddle....

Hazel's pov
"Careful!", i say holding Draco's arm
'Yea", he talks as he slowly walks trying not to fall.
Draco's leg was broken and he couldn't walk and since blaise was hanging out with his girlfriend again draco had called me to help him. Why ? I don't know, but i couldn't leave him there struggling so I decided to help anyway. We were walking to the great hall to eat breakfast and Ryker , jax and Marcus were also coming today. I was so excited to meet them harry seemed a little unsure and acted weird whenever I mentioned his name, Hermione said harry was acting 'overprotective' and if he was it was hilarious.

I sit Draco down and take a seat next to him, the other tables weren't there since there weren't many students staying at Hogwarts for break so they only had one table out. The trio were sat in front of me and the food was delicious. I havent had this in a long time and Dumbledore didn't even mind that i stayed at hogwarts for break he actually thought it was safer if i did. Just as we were nearly finished eating we heard the door of the great hall opening it was blaise and he came inside looking really happy. He took a seat and poured him self some food.

"Sorry I'm late i was hanging out with phoenix", he states
Phoenix that name sounded familiar.
"Phoenix?"
"Yea phoenix, why?"
"No reason, just what's her last name?"
"Her last name oh that's foreswift", he responds
"Phoenix foreswift? She's really here"
"Yea you know her"
"Of course we were best friends before i left to transfer to hogwarts, i never got to say goodbye though she had disappeared"

"Oh well she transferred to hogwarts after you went to go back to beauxbatons she never mentioned anything about you though", blaise added
"I would really like to meet her you know catch up i did send her a letter saying to meet up for Christmas when everyone's coming to my house", i speak as i put another piece of food into my mouth, "although, now that I think about she might have not got it since i sent it to her address in France"

After we finish eating we were heading back to the Gryffindor common room but i had to stop by the Slytherin common room to drop off Draco. Blaise was also tagging along to meet phoenix apparently she was also sorted into slytherin and this way i could meet her to. We were walking back when i notice a teacher and another student coming out of a classroom around the corner. Weird. I  thought to myself , I had never seen that kid here before we couldn't have had another student especially since it was the Christmas holidays. I try to listen to see what they were talking about.

"Right so your obviously in slytherin and we can make sure of that when we get the sorting hat, and you wont get your timetable since there will be no classes until the holidays finish"
I recognised the voice instantly it was snape. But what was he doing with another random kid.
"After you have been sorted you can head back to that common room and do whatever you want, i could care less"
"Yes professor"
"So you understand everything Mr. Riddle"
"Of course", he says smirking

I turn back to Draco and Blaise with a shocked look on my face. Mr. Riddle? He was Voldemort's son and that means not only are me and harry in trouble but so is phoenix.

"Hey potter you ok ? you look a little pale and worried", Blaise asks with concern
"Who me yea I'm ok", i speak as quick as i can trying to put a end to this conversation.

No one can know that i was worried about this. Why? Because the reason behind it only stays between and phoenix.

*Flash back*
I'm sitting with phoenix on her bed while she cries. And the fact that i cant do anything to help her hurts as hell.
"Hey it will get better", i speak softly trying to calm her down
"No it wont, what Adrian did can never be reversed he betrayed me"
I notice something on her arm.
"Did it hurt?"
"It was like a tingly feeling it hurts from time to time", she explains while she wipes her tears with her sleeve.
She spent the next hour explaining and crying after a while she goes to sleep. Phoenix was so upset and in pain because of Adrian especially since he lied. He had never told her anything he lied about who he was and where he was from. Whenever she would ask he would just lash out on her. I had never met Adrian but from the state that phoenix was in i knew he was a very awful person.
Phoenix explained that he tricked her into following him into this dark alley while they were walking back from their date. He told her he would be right back and left her there all on her own. A figure dressed in black drew out and started walking towards her she backed away and then felt someone grab her from behind. The spooky figure grabbed her arm and gave her a mark that would change her life. A mark that she would scratch and cut trying to get rid of it. It was The death eater mark.
*end of flash back*
