As you entered the common room Hermione ambush you. She wanted to hear all the details about your date with George. You chuckle at her eagerness. You both sat down by the fire. She smiles at you widely.
"So how was it i bet it was amazing wasn't it" she giggles softly
"It was wonderful and great we went to honeydukes got loads of sweets went on a little walk in hogsmeade then found a spot to sit and talk gosh it was so wonderful" you smile thinking about it then you remember the strange things that have happened causing your smile to fade. Hermione notice this causing her smile to fall.
"What's wrong y/n" Hermione frowns takes your hand softly.
"It just seemed....it seem like George wasn't himself" you said softly "it's like when I hold his hand or even kiss him didn't feel like him that it was someone else I was kissing and holding."
"What do you mean?" Hermione starts to think about what you were saying.
"He was acting a bit strange more than usual...he would have these small shakes of his body but then he will drink something then it seem that they stop" you look to the floor. "It was too weird..."
"Did you say he would take sips ever so often then he would seem normal to make the shakes stop"
You nod slowly "yes...and for some reason I thought I saw fred for a second."
"Y/n...im afraid that wasn't George you were on a date with...it was Fred on polyjuice potion im sorry it would explain everything."
As you took in what Hermione has said you grew shocked by it then is quickly turn into sadness. You couldn't believe it. You have to go see George and tell him. You quickly get up and rush up to the boys dormitory. You enter George's dorm without knocking.
"George im so sorry" your eyes fill with tears. You look up to not only see George but Fred who was also on the verge of tears.
