In the small town of Ann Arbor, the end of summer was approaching. Last minute bonfires, lake trips, and tanning were being squeezed in. The incoming senior class of Point Check High School was having an end of the year banger and EVERYONE was attending.
Even Oakley Jackson, who would rather be anywhere else. She hated being around drunk humans because it took her so much longer to get intoxicated yet it wore off so much quicker. She also didn't appreciate the looks of lust she would get. She could acknowledge that she was good looking, short black curls, fit body, all while standing at 5'10 but she knew people were really just intrigued by. Her extra member.
Yes, she had a dick. She was born with it, she was intersex. Her parents and friends were cool with it. She didn't advertise it but had gone skinny dipping with some friends and a few cheerleaders had crashed and the news spread like wild fire. She tried not to sweat it, seeing as how she had a girlfriend.
Jasmine Daniels had been her girlfriend for over a year now. Jasmine was a bright girl, had a bit of a wild side, but was head over heels for her. Jasmine didn't know about her being a werewolf, she would tell her after she turned 18 and it was confirmed that they were mates. She was sure of it though, the pull had almost always been there.
It had faded a bit this summer but she figured that was just due to being together so often. However no matter how much time they spent together, they never had sex. Not from Jasmine's lack of trying but she didn't want to rush into it and had always wanted to save herself for her mate.
She sat in her lawn chair, breathing in the fire as kids stumbled around. She could feel her mate near and closed her eyes trying to reach out to her. Someone plopped in the chair next to her, "Sleeping already?" Samantha giggled at her, she could smell the alcohol pouring off of her, she laughed and shook her head.
Samantha Daniels was her girlfriends best friend/ adopted sister. Sam's parents died were in a car crash about 10 years ago, they had been best friends with Jasmine's Mom who had taken her in right away. Samantha was the talk of the school. Head cheerleader, long legs, personality as sweet as honey. She had long red hair, freckles, and soft green eyes. She was a heart breaker.
She scratched her chest, the burning had returned and she felt guilty for finding another girl so attractive when Jasmine was somewhere nearby. She pushed the feeling aside and offered Sam some of her water. "How was Atlanta? When did you get back Sammy?"
Sam's smile got even wider, "Wanna know something? You're the only one who calls me Sammy." Sam said, leaning closer. They looked at each other, the burning got worse.
A body plopped down in her lap, breaking their staring contest. "Hey babe! Hey SamBam! Mom said you didn't wanna wait for me to go to the bonfire, you bitch." Jasmine teased, leaning back into Oakley. The burning was almost unbearable as she wrapped her arms around her girlfriends waist.
Sam rolled her eyes and leaned back into her own chair, eyes focused on the fire. They sat and watched as people stumbled around, singing, shouting, and having the time of their lives. A latin hip hop song came on and Oakley stiffened as Jasmine started giggling and grinding on her.
She cursed under her breath and tried to count down from one hundred. She felt Jasmine get up and she breathed a sigh of relief, that was quickly cut short when Jasmine sat on her lap facing her now. Jasmine kissed up her neck and continued to grind on her now hard member.
Oakley looked at the stars willing herself to calm down, she heard a huff and glanced over to see Sam sitting with her arms crossed, looking agitated. The burning in her chest increased as they suddenly made eye contact. Sam raised her eye brow in almost a challenge, almost sending her over the edge.
She suddenly grabbed Jasmine's hips and stood up, detaching them. "Okay, how about we go for a swim?" She didn't offer much room for debate as she tossed her shirt into her chair and dove into the lake. She walked through the water until her shoulders were covered and dropped her head under, only coming up when she felt someone swim by her.
She was surprised to see Samantha floating next to her. "She was mad, probably gave her blue balls you know." Sam said with a strained laugh.
"I just want to wait until I know," She mumbled feeling her cheeks redden. She tried to adjust herself in the water but the movement caught Sam's attention.
"I think it's sweet that you're waiting for your special someone." Sam said circling her in the water. "But Jasmine isn't the most patient girl, when she wants something she gets it."
She sighed and started floating in circles to match Sam, "Seriously Sammy, how was your summer?"
Sam rolled her eyes, but gave her a soft smile "You are too nice for your own good, I bet you're the only one who even noticed I was gone this summer."
That caught her attention, what had happened? She gently grabbed Sam's hand, pulling her closer so she couldn't swim away.
"What's wrong? Did someone hurt you-"
Sam chuckled softly, she wrapped herself around her, piggy back style. "No one hurt me, it was just an eye opening summer. Now carry me around like when we were younger!"
"Aye aye captain" She lightly paddled through the water. As they approached shore, "I did miss you a lot this summer Sammy." Sam tightened around her as she trugged back to the fire with Sam still on her back. Sam never responded. When they separated and sat back down, Sam's cheeks were flushed pink.
Oakley searched the crowd of teens and saw Jasmine dancing with some girls from the squad. Jasmine spotted her and beckoned her to come over. She was about to head over when she heard a group of boys talking about how they couldn't wait to 'smash Samantha' and 'have her on her knees'.
She sat back down, fists clenched. "Oak, you okay?" Sam asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. She shook herself out of her daze, she had always been protective of her friends. Sam was one of her closest friends and she hated when guys talked bad about her. Sam knew about werewolves too. A few summers ago she heard Sam crying at a party, a guy had tried to force her to have sex and she needed help. After Oakley had beaten him to a pulp she started changing in front of her. She couldn't help it; she was young, angry, and she wanted that guys blood.
They agreed to keep it a secret from Jasmine until she was her confirmed mate but it was honestly nice having a human know. Sure she was friends with other wolves in town but it was almost easier having someone know the truth about who she was. "Yeah I'm good, just thinking about school tomorrow." Sam gave her a look that said she didn't believe her.
Jasmine started stumbling over to them and Sam got up. "Ready to go?" She asked, catching Jasmine who seemed ready to sleep. Jasmine mumbled and nodded, falling into her arms.
"You want a ride?" She offered to Sam.
"You just can't get enough of me." They laughed as they carried Jasmine to the car. They put her in the back seat and start driving to the girls home. The car ride was a quick one, they helped Jasmine inside. Their mom wasn't home but she was probably working a double at the hospital. She made sure Jasmine was situated and then headed for the front door, Sam was waiting to lock up.
"Hey!" Sam said as she made it to her car, "I missed you this summer too Oakley".
