It was another regular day for Minjee; she spent the entire night texting and chatting with Jugyeong before going to bed. The Lim girl had so many stories to tell, and the two talked about random topics that ranged from teokkbokki to Jugyeong's favorite makeup artist. That is before Jugyeong suddenly stopped replying and said she had to deal with something that came up.
Minjee hopes that Jugyeong is alright, though.
Now at Saebom, Minjee and Soojin were called into the faculty to discuss competition stuff after the first two classes.
Minjee had an upcoming Science competition in five days, Soojin and Suho had a Math competition. The three of them were set to quote-on-quote "Bring Pride and Success to Saebom." Minjee wants nothing more than to yeet herself face-first into her queen-size bed and fall asleep.
"Are you ready for your competition Minmin?" Soojin asks. The two of them walked through the hallway to get back to class, arms linked with one another.
Minjee nods. "Yeah, I mean, I know it's gonna be easy. I'm sure you and Suho are gonna nail your competitions, though."
"Please, Lee Suho is gonna wipe the floor with my ass. He's gonna give me the number two spot for sure." Soojin snorts, making Minjee laugh and swat at the Kang girl's arm lightly.
"Come on, Kang-soo, you can beat him! I know you can." Minjee encourages.
Just as Soojin was about to reply, she stops and stares ahead. A look of disbelief falling over her features. Minjee turns and sees just what caused it, and it has her frowning too - but for a pretty different reason.
Jugyeong was holding an impossibly tall stack of files while cornered by non-other than Han Seojun.
Seojun had that intimidating-asshole stare on his face while he continued to talk to Jugyeong. Minjee could see from here how the Lim girl flinches with every word Seojun tells her. Minjee rolls her eyes; she just knew this had something to do with the Han boy's helmet that Jugyeong has yet to return.
Jugyeong ducks under Seojun's arm slowly, and Soojin clicks her tongue. "He hasn't been back for even a week, and he's picking on students already." Minjee pats her arm. "I'll handle him; you go ahead, Kang-soo." Minjee offers, not bothering to wait for her reply as she heads towards her stupid best friend.
As she gets near him, he hears Chorong spout something about an angel who stole a carpenter's clothes to get his attention. She snorts as she stands next to the boy and grabs him by the ear.
