"Your dating Albus potter?"

"If you actually paid attention to me Salem you'd notice it. We started dating yesterday after dinner"

I turn to dad "are you letting this happen?"

He puts his hands up "as long as I don't need to meet harry it's fine"

Albus speaks up "I live with my mom and luna, she and my dad didn't work out"

Oliver looks at me "see? He has nothing to do with Harry, please just be happy for me once Salem"

I huff "but he's a potter oli,you couldn't find anyone else?"

"You can never just be happy for me, can you?" he runs out of the classroom

"Seriously guys? Just cause my dad somehow fucked up to your mom? Let him be happy for once."

Albus walks out after him

I turn to dad and Scorpius "am I the bad guy? I want to protect my baby brother from a potter, is that such a bad thing?"

The room is quiet until Scorpius speaks up

"He's not your baby brother any more bubs, he's 11 just like you and me, I know you want to protect him-" he grabs my hands "-but he's not a kid anymore, he can protect himself"

I look at dad "you see it right? He's a potter, he'll hurt Oliver like harry hurt mom"

Dad sighs "listen, kid-" I sigh and sit down "so I'm the bad one for just wanting to take care of him"

"-I know I wasn't there for you kids but I noticed your mother favored you, and I had noticed your professors prefer you over oli, this was the first thing he got to himself and the one person he wants to be proud of him, got mad at him about who he's happy with"

I put my head on the desk "I just wanted to keep him safe you know? I love him but why can't he be happy with anyone else"

"I don't think it's his choice on who he loves Salem"

The doors open and around 10 students come in, they stop and look around "are we late?"

"No. sit before you annoy me."

The students sit down and talk quietly, soon after the rest of the class comes and the lesson starts.

I stand beside the door, talking to Scorpius when Albus walks up to me "are you done hating me yet?"

"Are you done being a potter?"

He sighs "listen I don't like you as much as you don't like me but for Oli's sake can we just make a truce?" he sticks his hand out for me to shake

I look over at Scorpius "do it" he mouths to me

I reach out and shake Albus' hand "truce" I tighten my grip and pull him towards me "but if you ever hurt oli I'll kill you worse than Voldemort killed your grandparents"
