chapter 9

seungmin pov

changbin followed me through the halls out to the back of the school, his eyes locked on my hand grabbing his wrist, causing me to blush and walk faster.

we finally got to the back of the school and i pushed him to sit down in criss cross while i started pacing.

"i mean why would you get in a fight in the first place?!"

i shouted, while he just looked at the ground.

"i mean you could've gotten hurt, thank god you didnt..."

i mumbled the end part, getting slightly embarrassed as he looked up at me.

"so?"

"so what?"

"why'd you get in the fight"

i asked with my arms crossed, staring down at him.

changbin pov

he asked the question.

the one thing i didnt want to bring up.

how are you meant to tell someone you got in a fight because of them?

you dont.

so i lie.

"he uh, said some things about my friend so i beat him up"

"your lying"
he said, squinting at me.

i looked down and he started to talk again.

"just tell me the real reason, i promise i wont be mad"

i sighed then started telling the real reason.

"me chan an minho were all in the library sitting at our normal table when the dudes next to us started talking really load, so we turned to say something. but when i turned, i heard your name come out of their mouths, with slurs and slander afterwards, a-and idk i guess the red took over? it normally doesnt but, i just got so angry and then you saw the result."

i said, finishing while looking back down at the ground.

"still! my names been through so much, why would you do that??"

"oh my god you idiot! its cause im in love with you !!"
