Chapter 14~ The Break of the Press

Deku POV

"Thank you for coming. Today I'll be addressing the current scandal involving Pro-hero Katsuki Bakugo and I. On the day of the Scandal, Bakugo left the house and went to work. I got bored at home and needed some papers from the office,so got in my car and headed to the office.

I got to the office and pulled into the first lot with my office pass. As I was getting out I put a trench coat on, glasses, and a mask to protect my identity from the media. Also, there were no cars in the lot at the time.

I walked in the building, scanned my badge, and went on the elevator. As the elevator was going up, the elevator stopped mid-ride and the doors opened for Pro-hero Katsuki Bakugo. He walked in the elevator and the doors closed. I noticed it was him and held his hand and he looked down and saw that it was me and we walked to our floor.

He took me to his office and I slept on his couch. Then a Pro-hero walked in and talked with me. Then I also was invited to a confidential meeting. I went back to Pro-hero Bakugo's office until two Pro-heroes came in and we talked.

It was time for me to leave and I put my coat, mask, and glasses on and Pro-Hero Bakugo walked me out. When we got out of the building and into First Lot Garage, he opened my door and I got in. He gave me a kiss, but we heard a camera click and turned to see a media person. Pro hero Bakugo had gone up to the media and asked if the photo could be deleted. He walked back to me, hugged me, and I headed home."

This is my point of view and now I will be taking questions.

"Izuku, is it true that Bakugo tried to threaten the media?"

"I really don't remember."

"What was the meeting about?"

"I can not share with the media due to the meeting being confidential."

"Are the rumors true that you and Pro-hero Bakugo are engaged?"

Everyone went quiet and waited for my response.

"Wait what? Where did you get this from?"

"Our news sources said that an unknown person told us that they overheard Pro-Hero Kasuki talking to a doctor at the X hospital."

I turn to kacchan to help me answer the question. I felt the pressure on me and I felt light headed.

"We will not answer at this time." Kacchan said

I walked me to Mina and Kirishima.

"Take him inside, get water and calm him down."

"Yes."

I was brought to a couch inside and was brought water and fans.

"Are you ok?"

"Im fine. Can you turn the TV on to the conference outside?"

"You got it!"

They turned the TV on and Bakugo was about to make his statement.

I got to the office and pulled into the first lot with my office pass. As I went inside I caught up with two Pro-heroes. Also, there were a few cars in the lot at the time.

I scanned my badge for the elevator and waited. When the elevator, I noticed someone was in the elevator and I stepped in.I felt the person's hand and I almost said something but I saw the green hair and freckles and we walked to our floor.

I took him to my office and he slept on my couch. Then a few minutes later, I walked to my office to find Izuku and a Pro-Hero talking. Then we left for a confidential meeting. He went back to my office until two Pro-heroes came in and they talked.

It was time for Izuku to leave and he put his coat, mask, and glasses on and I walked me out. When we got out of the building and into First Lot Garage,I opened his door and he got in. I gave him a kiss, but we heard a camera click and turned to see a media person. I had gone up to the media and politey and rudely asked if the photo could be deleted. I walked back to Izuku, hugged him, and he headed home. This is my point of view and now I will be taking questions."

"Bakugo could you tell us who those Pro-Heroes are?"

"I will not be"

"Can you elaborate on how the media got in without a badge?"

"I truly don't know we tried figuring it out when I got home."

"Will there be an update to who those heroes are?"

"Maybe"

I hold my stomach in pain. 'Why do babies kick so hard.'I said quietly

"Are you ok?"

"It hurts when the baby kicks. When Bakugo is done can you get him"

"Yes.'

They both went to the door, went to Kacchan and whispered so it wouldn't pick up on the mic.

"This will be the end of my part. I'll be answering no more questions."

"WAIT IS IT TRUE THAT YOU AND IZUKU ARE EXPECTING."

Time stood still. I felt nothing.

"No we are not."

He left the briefing and ran straight to me.

"Are you ok?"

"The baby is kicking too hard."

I started crying because of how bad it felt.

"Let me get you mom on the line."

"No please, I just want you."

"I understand."

He snuggled me on the small couch and we took a name.

After a while the briefing ended and every pro-heroes and retired pro-heroes tried waking us up, but they managed to wake us. We all walked to our floor and we had some big questions to answer.

"Are you guys really engaged?"

"Yes."

"And are you guys expecting?"

"Yes."

Everyone was shocked and happy.

"The only reason why the media would know is because I had to tell the doctor and the nurse who I overheard talking about me probably eavesdropped on our conversation."

"We are all so proud of you guys! Now it's time for our Second recording briefing."

We walked to our assigned seats in the room, got our mics and mic packs on and proceeded to start.
