The Brown Eyes

EMILY

It was a puppy and it was exactly like coco!!! Omg...It was hurt, so bad. I wondered what happened to it. I took it in my arm. I still couldn't believe how hurt and sad it was. I stroked its back and then I heard a voice behind me.

"Tout va bien, magnifique?"

I turned my back and saw one of the most beautiful brown eyes. Ever. Damnnnn!!!!

He was in a grey t-shirt and black track pant. He had messy hair, beard and a headphone hugging his neck. 

DAMN, what's with the guys with brown eyes...I can't 😢. 

Stop staring Emily!!!!!!!

"Am sorry, what?" I stumbled.

"Oh, you're English. I should have known. Oh, yeah! I asked are you okay and also that cute little one," he said.

"I was walking and saw him screaming in pain, he is hurt so bad. Do you know any vet we can take him too?, I asked him.

"My friend is a vet, I'll take him there. Do you wanna come?, he asked.

I open my mouth to say yes--- but then...

"Are you okay, Miss Rogers? Who is this? " Steven came panting. 

Godddd!!!! Steven and his inappropriately bad timing pissed me. 

I explained what happened and Steven was not convinced sending me with him. " I am sure the gentleman will take good care of the little one, we are late already, Emily. Hurry up soon, I'll wait in the car." said Steven and walked back to the car. We were left alone.

Finally!!!!!

" Guess I have to take him myself, Its a shame that I can't give you a ride, Emily". He had this puppy dog eyes. 

Godddddddd, stop me and him as well!

" Am so sorry, I really want to be with him but you know...I can't. Please take good care of him. " I said.

He gave his card, "Call me whenever and yeah I'll take good care of this little one. Take good care you, Emily. Oh, and you're very gorgeous." he winked and walked away with the puppy.

I was so glad he couldn't see the red tomatoes forming in both of my cheeks.

I was staring at him, seeing him walk away with the puppy. Then, I looked down at the card.

" DR. ALEX CALLERRA, Doctor of General Medicine" it read.

Not again Emily. I said to myself and walked towards the car.

Not again for a guy you briefly met and definitely not for a guy with brown eyes.

Not after Mark.
