I woke up bolting up right. I realized Lizzie, nor anyone else, was in my room. I wiped the sweat from my forehead and laid back down. A few minutes later, there was a knock on my door and then it opened. "Carl?" It was Mekah. "I can't sleep." I sat up and grabbed the shirt off the edge of my bed and put it on. "I heard everyone yelling and there are Walkers outside my window." She said, as she climbed on top of the bed and sitting in front of me, lugging her ragged teddy bear with her.

"Why were you all yelling?" She asked. "We all had a misunderstanding. Everyone is okay now, though. No worries." I said grabbing her hand to comfort her. "The Walkers are still very loud." She whimpered. "I can fix that." I said, getting up. I reached for my bag and grabbed my MP3 and headphones. "Here, have you ever heard off Fall Out Boy?" I asked, smiling. "No." I flipped through the songs in my mind.

"All Time Low?" I asked. "No." She shrugged. "Green Day?" I asked, hopeful. "Nuh-uh." I sighed. "Put those on and try to get some rest." I told her smiling. "All those bands were really good." I sent her off to bed and got up to make breakfast at midnight. I tiptoed down the stairs, making as little noise as possible. As I was getting out the bowl, I could hear all the Walkers. I grabbed my gun and stepped outside. They were all gathered outside the second story window. Somebody was throwing things out the window. I shot all the Walkers and looked up. Someone was leaning out looking at me with a look of pure horror.
