Chapter 1

Chapter 1

"What you can't be serious?!" I slammed my fist on the desk and rose out of my chair. "Is there a problem?" my boss asked looking up at me.
"Yes... I mean... No.. Well. I don't mind working for them, but living?! You can't be serious."
"Oh I'm serious. I don't understand why you're so upset though." She said as she folded her hands together. "I mean, you'll be living with 13 boys around your age and the contract only lasts for 3 years."
"What?! 3 ye-" I bit my lip. It would be best for me to just stop now before I got fired. I sighed and say back down.
"You'll be fine. The group's name is Topp Dogg and they'll be debuting shortly. But with 13 guys, the manager was worried so he wanted someone older than them to be there too, so I recommended you. You've always been good with the idols so I'm sure there won't be a problem." She glanced up at me. "So you'll just have to work their stylist for clothes, make up, and hair and go everywhere with them. King of like a guardian angel."
What am I? A nanny?, I thought as I took all this in.
"But what about my other assignments? I'm supposed to be doing SHINee's hair for their comeback." I said crossing my arms. "Not a problem! You'll do all of your assignments still. But you won't have as many." She replied.
"Ok. Where am I living then?" She smiled, obviously proud because she persuaded me into this. "That's the spirit. Now you'll live in Dorm A which has 7 members while Dorm B has 6, but they're right above Dorm A. Here's the address and they'll be expecting you tomorrow." She explained and handed me a card with the address on it.
I got out of my chair and bowed. "Gamsahabnida." She nodded and allowed me to leave. I left and glanced at the card. The apartment complex isn't nearly as nice as the place I live but I guess I have no other choice.
I walked out of the building and got into my red Ferrari California and drove home.
I got to my apartment building and crashed on the couch. Today would be my last night here for 3 years but that didn't bother me. I bought this apartment to live in temporarily because I was an expensive house built exactly the way I had planned for years. So I found the most expansive apartment complex in South Korea and stayed there until it's done. But now it looks like I'll be living in a cheap apartment with guys. Great....
I finally got up off the couch and showered, then went to bed. I had a feeling that I wouldn't get another good night of sleep for 3 more years.

When I woke up the next morning, it was already 10:30 am! That's not super late but for me it was weird so I got up quickly. I went to the bathroom and did my hair with natural waves and blow dried my bangs that go across my forehead. Then I did my make up pretty natural and wore jeans with a white blouse and shoes. My outfit was very simple today.
Then I went straight to packing. To be honest, I was a little nervous but I couldn't let that show. The only thing I had to pack was my clothes and I called my butler to do the rest. I was not about to let him pack MY clothes.
I ended up only filling up one can with my clothes/shoes/accessories and that wouldn't last too long. But it was ok for now.
After I was done, I left and told my butler to get all my luggage there by 6 and thanked him.
When I got to apartment complex it looked cheaper than I thought. It was annoying but whatever, so I took out the card my boss gave me and found out that I would be on the 9th floor. Then I took an elevator up and unlocked the door to my new home.
It was very quiet with no one around, which was the first thing I noticed. So that was good. But the apartment was poorly decorated and messy, which made it so obvious that guys live here.
But why isn't there noise? Is anyone home?
I walked down a hallway and into the first room I saw which was on my left. It was dark so I turned on the light to see a small room with 2 bunk beds that still had bodies in them.
Ahhh. I see. Well this isn't acceptable. They're supposed to welcome me. I thought as I went to the kitchen to get a pan and a spoon.
Then I entered the quiet bedroom again and began hitting the spoon and pan together as loudly as possible. "Yahhhh! Why are you still sleeping?!" I yelled.
Someone on the left bottom bunk slowly sat up and look over to see who was making so much noise. When he realized there was a girl here he immediately got up and started bowing. "Anyeonghaseyo!"
I recognized him as A-Tom after looking at their profiles. His hair was sticking out in different directions but he seemed sweet. So I bowed back and smiled. "Who's the others?"
"Uhhh. Xero is above my bed and B-Joo is on top of that bed with Hojoon on bottom." I patted his head. "You're my favorite so far." Then I went to Xero's bed and began banging the pan closer to him. "Get up!"
He slowly say up and looked at me with a death glare before turning towards the wall and shoving a pillow on his head.
Useless. I thought and turned towards the other bunk still banging. I went up close to B-Joo and hit the pan to make it as loud as possible. But he didn't even move. I stopped. "Yah! Are you even alive?!" And hit it a few more times. Then I gave up and went down to Hojoon's bed.
Geez that kid. I thought before I started hitting the pan again. I stood there for several minutes just repeatedly hitting the panned over and over again and I could tell Hojoon was getting annoyed and was just trying to ignore it. So I was expecting him to get out of bed any minute now. Wrong! Instead he turned towards me and grabbed the pan and threw it across the room. Satisfied, he turned back around to continue his sleep.
I stomped my foot and clenched the remaining soon in my hand. "Yah! What the heck?! Just get up! It's almost noon!"
But then I noticed 3 more people were standing in the doorway half asleep as they yawned and rubbed their eyes. It was P-Goon, Kidoh, and Seogoong.
"What's going on?" P-Goon asked. I sighed. "Help me please?! These 3 won't get up! One of them just won't cooperate. The other is dead I'm pretty sure. And the last one is moody. So you get them up leader!"
P-Goon looked surprised. "Uhhh.. Ok." Then I left the room and went to the living room to sit on the couch.
These kids. I thought as I waited for everyone to be awake. Then the 7 of them made their way towards me and: A-Tom was bowing respectively, Seogoong and Kidoh walked out like zombies, Xero had his arms crossed and a glare still on his face, Hojoon walked slowly with a blanket wrapped around him, and P-Goon came out dragging a blanket that had a still sleep B-Joo on it.
I smiled. "That wasn't very hard. Now can you get the other 6 to come down?"
"Pffft. They're probably still happily sleeping!" Said Xero annoyed. I sighed. "Well I guess that's more work for me." Then I got up to go upstairs. "I'll be right back."
When I entered Dorm B, it was completely silent again. The place was just as poorly decorated as the other but cleaner so I ignored it.
I went down the hallway and into a room. I turned on the light to see a bigger room than the one upstairs. But there were still 2 bunk beds on each wall.
Suddenly someone sat up and turned towards me with their eyes still closed. "Gohn! Turn the light off!" He complained. Then he slowly opened his eyes and I realized that it was Hansol. He flinched back with his eyes wide open because he was shocked to see me there.
"Hmm. Do you mind if I use this?" I asked pointing to a stereo on the ground. He looked at me and then the stereo before saying, "Uhh.. I.. No. Go ahead."
"Thanks." I said smiling and I plugged my phone into he stereo. Then I put it on full blast as I played Bulletproof by BTS. Immediately on the right side, Yano and Gohn sat up with wide eyes but below Hansol was Nakta who didn't even budge. I shut off the music. "Yahhhhhh! Why won't he get up?!"
Then Hansol climbed down from the top bunk. "I know how to wear him up!" He pulled a big stuffed panda from Nakta's arms and that got him to wake up fast. He sat straight up with a pouty face. "Give me back Doldol!" But Hansol threw the doll on the floor. "Don't hurt him!" Nakta yelled and ran to get his doll back while Hansol was laughing on the side.
I rolled my eyes. "Come downstairs now!" The 4 of them (and Doldol) followed me out the door and already out there was Jenessi and Sangdo. "You too! Come downstairs for introductions!" I said and we all made our way back to Dorm A.
But when we got downstairs: Hojoon, Seogoong, and Xero were leaning on each other asleep on the couch, P-Goon, A-Tom, and Kidoh were spread out on the floor asleep, and B-Joo was sitting on the blanket smiling and waving like a child.
"Goodmorning!" He welcomed happily.
"YAHHHH!" I yelled the loudest I'd ever yelled before. All 6 of them woke up instantly and B-Joo cuddled into P-Goon frightened.
I took a long deep breath and forced a smile. "Ok. Now we can get to know each other."
