Chapter 5: Aveline!?

'Oww. It hurts.'

'Hey, you're awake. What hurts?' I felt more than relieved to see her awake.

'Head.' She moaned. 'Thirsty. Mom. Water. Care. She. Where?' She rubbed her hands against her throat. I distinctly understood that she needed water. I handed over the glass to her.

'Mmm.' She moaned in the water. 'Tasty.' Her moaning was making things harder. A lot.

'Ave, you are not making any sense. What do you mean exactly?' I rubbed my hand against her shoulder. She flinched and then went back to normal.

'She's not fully awake yet. Her brain needs to adjust a bit after the impact.' Someone said. I turned around in my seat to see Namjoon, Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi, Jin and Hoseok standing at the door with a bouquet. They were well-armed. I mean, they had their masks, glasses, etc. on.

'Yes, I told them about that.' Jungkook said.

'I want to wring that guy's neck.' Suga said, wringing his arms.

'That's not enough. I'll severe his neck from his battered body. He tried to rape her!' Hoseok flexed his arms.

I relaxed upon hearing that. Jungkook and Jimin had taken care of everything. The bedsheets shifted under my hand.

'Seriously? Is this a dream? Am I hallucinating? Have I gone crazy after all?' Aveline sounded more clear....... and meaningful.

'It's good to see you in your good health, Miss Rivera.' Jin handed her the bouquet.

'Th-th-thank you, I guess.' She stuttered. We laughed. Her cheeks turned flaming pink.

'No need to be so surprised, Miss. We heard about the incident from your saviours.' Namjoon pointed towards Jungkook, Jimin and me. 'How could we not pay you a visit?'

She blushed harder. Just like that, with the sunshine on her face, her hair in a mess and that look on her face, she managed to take my breath away without any effort. I scanned my eyes in the room and found Jungkook staring at her intently. Jimin had his eyes pacing back and forth between us. The others were busy chatting with Aveline. Jealousy flooded in me.

'Hey, what are you frowning at?' Her voice flooded me with warmth.

'Hmm? Nothing.' I rubbed the back of my head.

'Someone's getting shy...' Namjoon teased. The others simply laughed.

'Oh just shut up.' The laughing grew even louder but within the hospital limits. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Aveline blushing hard with her eyes averted. I chuckled. At the sound, she looked up, her opalescent eyes gazing at me. After a couple of intense minutes, she broke that... weird connection. It was then that I realized that the whole room had gone quiet. Looking up, I saw everyone checking me and Aveline out, with dopey grins on their faces. Jungkook had his eyes narrowed as if sending me a silent message. I pretended that I didn't get it. Jimin was smirking.

'Fine. So what's the plan for today?' Yoongi asked. I nodded my head towards Kookie and Jimin. They nodded back.

'Uh, actually I, Jimin and Taehyung were planning to explore around a bit more today as yesterday was...' Jungkook jabbed his finger towards Aveline.

'I'll sleep.' Hoseok yawned.

'Whole day?' Jin asked sarcastically.

'Yep.'

'Ok. I, Jin and Suga will go shopping. Deal?' RM asked.

'Deal.' Jin and Suga responded.

We set on the mission to find the elixir.    [In case you forgot, Mount Olympus is getting weaker and needs the elixir, which Poseidon (Kim Taehyung), Zeus (Jeon Jungkook) and Hades (Park Jimin) have ought to find on the earth.]

We came to a public park.

'Now to the point. We have six days including today for the "vacation". We'll make use of this opportunity to search for the elixir. The question is, "Where do we search?" We can't do much in a mortal's body 'cause I'd hate to ruin this guy's perfectly sculpted figure.' Jimin clapped his hands.

'"You shall be known with not your name

You shall rise to worldly fame

Surrounded by light, yet delve into the dark,

As BTS you shall have the mark

......" The first two lines and the fourth are deciphered. We are not known as Zeus, Poseidon or Hades currently. That's the first line. BTS is well-known all over the world. That makes the second line. Our band is known as BTS. There goes the fourth one.' I summarised.

'"....Surrounded by light, yet delve into the dark,

As BTS you shall have the mark,

Elixir, she is meant to be

The one to fulfill the prophecy." Rest of this.....damn that Apollo. He could just tell us directly, couldn't he!? And here we are, pondering over this useless shit!' Jungkook paced in front of the bench I and Jimin were sitting.

'Either this elixir is a female or this old hag was just messing with us.' Jimin tapped his chin. 'I have a weird feeling this is the first one.'

Jungkook stopped pacing abruptly. He opened his mouth, then closed it. He repeated that action once or twice again.

'What is it Kookie?' I asked in a worried tone.

'Guys... Do you remember what Typhon said?'

'Aveline!?' Jimin and I gasped. Jungkook nodded. 

Dammit.

Hey Armies!!! FYI, I will be using the name "Aveline" for the girl because I don't want the international Armies out there to be disappointed because most of the fanfictions I have come across either has girls from Korean background or the authors name them as "y/n". So to make you feel happy, I decided to use this name.

I am an Indian but I really like how the name "Aveline" sounds. Hope you like my choice.
