Liveliness and upbeat music filled the room's atmosphere as they arrived at Yeonjun's one by one, making themselves at home before helping themselves to the food which laid across the table.
"Have any of you guys tried contacting Taehyun?" Yeonjun asked. "He agreed to come over, but it's already 7:30 when I told him to arrive at 7," He continued, the others merely shrugged.
"Perhaps there's bad traffic," Hueningkai piped.
"He isn't answering any of my calls too," Yeonjun said, his eyebrows furrowing slightly.
"Maybe, he turned his phone off- he tends to do that sometimes," Reassured Soobin who was sitting by the TV.
"I guess we can't wait any longer, now can we?" Yeonjun said with a sigh, placing his phone onto the table as he reached for his can of coke, "a toast for making it through the past years of suffering in high school!" Cried Yeonjun jubilantly as he raised his can into the air.
Just as the others were about to shout a "CHEERS", there was a knock on the front door. Placing his drink down, Yeonjun walked towards the door as he opened it; there stood a tall man dressed in a police officer's uniform.
"Is something the matter?" Yeonjun asked, confused as to why a police officer would abruptly turn up to his doorstep at literally 7:36 in the evening.
He said nothing as a group of police officers behind him entered the house as they grabbed the boys, who were looking very much confused.
"Wait wha-"
"Choi Soobin, Choi Yeonjun, Choi Beomgyu, Kai Kamal Huening. You are all currently under investigation for the murder of Kang Taehyun,"
