Today I'm getting adopted by this family from New Jersey and I'm nervous "what if they don't like me ?" "Why do they want me ?" I'm 14 and usually once you get out of the kiddie phase you're stuck in the system until your 18 "I'm too old to get adopted" I hope they are nice. one of the staff members Layla told me they have 2 kids already .
"Hey Denver they're here " Layla said to me
"Ok I'm almost done" I said brushing my hair
"Meet me in the dining room" Layla said then left

This is frenchie (no face claim) cool name right ? She said her dad named her that because her mom would eat French fries while she was pregnant. she's my roommate. I've been with her since we were 10 . She came here after her mom murdered her father and was sentenced to life .she doesn't have any other family to go to and people are afraid to adopt her so she doesn't have a lot so whatever I had I would share with her

We hugged and I grabbed my stuff put it bye the door then made my way to the dining room
