We walked to class and kairi invited me to sit with his friends at lunch and I agreed to it .
T: GOODMORNING CLASS since today is the first day of school we are gonna do speed meeting kinda like speed dating but your not going flirt you are only allowed to talk about things on the board and I will be listening in

The class was set up with 2 chairs down the rows so we can do one on ones .me and kairi sit on different Sides of the room and then the same boy came in the class with mattia and a tall dark skin boy with braids and was standing in the front
T: ALEJANDRO AND MATTIA YOUR LATE
M: relax miss only by like 5 minutes
Ale: you didn't even yell at roshaun
F: take a seat you guys know the drill
R: speed meeting first day of school tradition
They all take a seat and dimple boy sit right next to me

This morning
I woke up to the sound of my alarm I brush my teeth and go to wake Luca and mattia up for school
D: good morning Luca it's time to get ready
L: good morning Denny can you make me some egos
D: sure I'll go put them in after I wake mattia up

I close his door and make my way downstairs to mattias room and I knock on the door
M: come in
I opened the door to see mattia already dressed for school which is unusual cause he's always late
D: oh I just came to wake you up and say good morning
M: I'm up
D: I see that , ok then
I step out his room and I hear him call me back
M: wait denver come here
D: yeah what's up
M: since you're going to be in my school now can u at least follow some rules

I walked back upstairs leaving his room door open and I went into the kitchen to make Lucas egos and he came down to eat

We laugh and then I go upstairs and get dressed

Back to class
T:ok each group will have 3 minutes to get to know each other and a bell will tell yo when to switch . BEGIN

I just played with my pen until dimple boy spoke up
Ale: so I'm guessing you're not a talker so I'm Alejandro and what's yours ?
D: my names denver
Ale: that's a nice name so I haven't seen you around here before are you new ?
D: yes I transferred here from Patterson high
Ale : how come I never seen you around me and my friends hit up all of PH's parties
D: I don't party I like to keep to myself

The bell rang and he got up and switched seats
The rest of the people were boring so I just doodled in my note book the bell rang again and someone new sat next to me

D: I don't really care about social media I have Instagram but only to reach out to my friends from home

D: no I'm from Texas but I got adopted by people who live here 2 years ago

D: he sat next to me and started talking

M: so ignore him .plus I saw you and Kai walking in the hallway

D: some girl victoria introduced us

D:I can't stop people from talking to me mattia I also can't help if they like me either

D: it was boring I only met one person I would actually talk to

The bell rang and he just walked out of class and everyone followed him out

Denver : oh u can leave without me

He left and she walked to the field for gym class.
