"FUCK!" Tears streamed down Y/n's cheeks when Gojo moved her body so she was sitting up against the wall.

"Keep applying pressure okay," The man panicked seeing the amount of blood she was losing, his hand and her hand both held tightly over the wound.

"It hurts so bad, Satoru I-I'm gonna die aren't I--"

"No you aren't gonna die," Gojo wanted to pick up Y/n and bring her to the nearest hospital but not only was he too scared to pick her up after hearing that blood curling scream, but help was already on the way. All he needed to do was keep the girl conscious.

She moaned in pain as she tried to fix her posture, the blood pumping out faster as she drew quicker breaths.

"Hey Hey, look at me.. Look at me.." He grabbed onto her free hand interlocking there fingers giving her hand a tight squeeze.

"I'm fucking looking at you take your blindfold off!" She spat out annoyed followed by another moan of pain. At her request Gojo ripped off his blindfold letting her make eye contact with his icy orbs.

"Ok, breathe slower.." He started taking slow deep breaths for her to model after him. She nodded her head as she tried to mimic his breathing pattern and stop hyperventilating. "Relax.. You'll be fine okay."

Gojo's eyes lit up when he felt Y/n squeeze his hand in response while drawing deep breathes.

Anxiety rose in him as he looked behind them and all around to see if their were any signs of help reaching them; Y/n furrowed her brows and started looking around too.

"I'm going to have to pick you up."

"What!? No--"

"I know it hurts but help is no where near--"

"We have to wai--"

"Y/n if we wait any longer you'll die!" Gojo exploded, unable to keep his composure for her. "You'll die." He said more softly while tears glazed his eyes.

Y/n looked down at the pool of blood she was sitting in, she was pouring out fast.

Gojo was right, if they were to sit here for even a minute longer Y/n would meet deaths door before the help.

"I can't lose you. Not like this." Pressing their foreheads together he sneaked his arm around her back, "not right now."

Y/n hastily nodded as she pecked his lips quickly.

The two had been dating for no longer than 3 years, Gojo and Y/n were like a match made in heaven. Even before they made it official the two were already together.

Bringing her legs together Y/n felt his hand slide underneath them.

"This is gonna hurt like hell, but it'll be over in 10 seconds I promise. I love you."

"I love you too."

Staring deeply into each others eyes Gojo counted to three but picked her up on two, immediately a scream tore her through her vocal cords.

And the split second he had her in his arms, he didn't waste a moment. And before her heart could even beat, he was already in the hospitals ER.

"I need a doctor!" He yelled and the panicked faces of the workers and bypassers did not go unnoticed but they were ignored. Running to the front desk he slapped his bloody hand on the desk making the lady behind it jump. "My girlfriend is dying! I need a doctor!

"Ok you'll have to sit do--" She said rushing as she shot up from her seat to grab the phone.

"Sit down!? Do you not see her?!" He said motioning to the blasted right side of her body, looking down at her for the first time since they've arrived he noticed her eyes were closed.

"Y/n..?" He spoke breathlessly tapping the her cheek with the back of his hand lightly, "Y/n?!" He shook her before checking her pulse only for it to be extremely faint. He was on a very pinched time limit, and he didn't have time to sign out papers or sit and wait for even 20 seconds.

Sprinting out of the hospital he went to the person he should've went to first

"Shoko!" Bursting into her doctors office he broke down the door making the lady jump. "I need your help,"

Shoko's eyes fell onto the unconscious girl in his arms and her breath got stuck in her throat. Getting up from her desk she discarded everything onto the floor by swiping her arms quickly across her desk to provide a flat surface.

She didn't even half to tell the man to lay Y/n down on the desk as he immediately did as she tied her hair and rolled up her sleeves.

Gojo zipped down Y/n's jacket and took it off for her, Shoko then reaching down and pulling her shirt over her head.

Both of them pausing for a second as their eyes fell on the wound.

"It's worse than I thought," Shoko said as she examined the wound. Gojo was so taken aback his hand went over his mouth as he stumbled backwards.

His brows furrowed as he felt his heart drop into the pits of his stomach.

"Gojo?" Shoko didn't raise her head to look at him, focused on doing her best to heal Y/n with her cursed technique.

"I-I have to get some fresh air." Stumbling out of the room Gojo didn't make it far as he threw up before he could even reach outside.

Coughing he clutched his stomach.

Gojo was used to the sights of mangled bodies, he was used to seeing bodies so torn apart it was hard to tell if a human or animal had been brutally murdered. The sight of Y/n's body would set anyone uneasy, but compared to the horrid sights he'd seen it was nothing.

The thing that made his stomach flip, was simple fact that it was Y/n.

Crumbling down onto his knees reality hit him like a load of bricks as he choked out a sob he'd been holding in.

Shoko was gifted with the reversed cursed technique to restore limbs and heal mild damage. So she wasn't a regular doctor, but she wasn't a god either.

Gojo couldn't help but blame himself for Y/n ending up in that condition.

It was unbelievable to him how he could be the worlds strongest shaman, yet he wasn't able to prevent Y/n from laying on her death bed.

The title didn't mean anything if he couldn't even protect his loved ones.

He cursed multiple times under his breath as he tried to only think about Y/n surviving. He tried to be optimistic but it was so hard after seeing the full extent of her wound.

In front of the of the door he sat, not wanting to go inside and stress out Shoko while she was operating on Y/n. He needed her to be level headed.. He needed her to be at her best.

Gojo didn't hesitate to leave Y/n's life in Shoko's hands; especially because of how close Shoko and Y/n were when they were still high school students.

The only reason why he'd brought Y/n to the hospital first was because at his top speed the hospital was 3 seconds away, while Shoko was a whole 5.

But now he deeply regretted that decision.

And when Shoko appeared from the room with a glum expression an hour later, he felt the weight of his error crush him.
