It was a Monday and my parents had scheduled my surgery on a day that we were reading a big book! uggghhhh! We were 15 minutes early, and it was scheduled for 7:oo A.M.
The doctor said, "Welcome to Kosair, where for children we care!"
I didnt feel more welcome at all! Our team had our second game today, and i didn't know if I would be there.
We all walked and talked back to the office, where they give you the anesthetic and take you to the OR. The anesthetic doc told me about it and then started. They made a spot on my hand swell up and then gave me the shot.
The last thing I remember before they took me to the OR was me talking to this pretty blonde nurse about......fishing! Of course anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE fishing!
Then they took me back to the OR. I was out like a light!
