It's been a month and you were still putting effort on minji despite having no experience what so ever.
right after you ask her to try dating with you gradually you learned about her life as minji and not jiu you knew about her and gahyeon and how she got over it.
Handong was going to propose today with the help of you bora siyeon and minji.
Well they still didn't know minji was your girlfriend but after having a conversation about telling your friends about it.
She slowly agreed to the idea. "I'm happy that you're facing your fears head on" You told your girlfriend hugging her afterwards.
"I couldn't have done it without you encouraging me everyday" Minji's reply made your heart feel fluttery.
It's only been a month and you still don't know where you and minji's relationship will end at but at the same time you knew you will be there for her no matter what.
"Shall we go?" Minji cuts you off your thoughts whilst you nod smiling sheepishly.
You drove to handong and gahyeon's shared home to see siyeon and bora already were preparing for everything before the lovers finally went back home.
Handong was planning on proposing to gahyeon where they first met which was in a parking lot so after their date you just hope it will all go well.
"Y/N is this your girlfriend?!" Bora shouted surprising minji. You noticed how minji was kinda scared of bora so you pushed your friend back.
"You're scaring her" Siyeon tells her wife before you can even speak about it.
"H-hi I'm k-kim minji" You held onto your girlfriends hand tightly encouraging her to be confident.
Mouthing a 'Don't worry'. "You got yourself a princess" Siyeon joked seeing how bora got even more clingier to her wife.
"Ah where is my manners? I'm Lee bora, Siyeon's wife" Bora introduced herself with an innocent smile.
Siyeon blushed harshly at the blunt introduction. "Y-yeah" Siyeon was too shy to even introduce herself which minji can relate too.
The four of you finished preparing the surprise event as you all began to hide behind the couch.
With the lights turned off you waited for the door to creak open.
After an hour or so you finally heard someone walk in turning the lights on.
The four of you jumped out of the couch popping confetti only to see handong....alone?.
"Wait where's gahyeon?" You rushed immediately to handong seeing that she was about to burst into tears while minji stood frozen feeling sad for handong.
"No...fucking way" siyeon hugs handong immediately as bora was about to cry feeling heartbroken for handong. "S-she said...Yes!!" You all stood frozen at what handong said.
Gahyeon then barges inside laughing at everyone. "I thought all of you told handong 'Oh gahyeon is definitely in love with you' of course I can't say no to her" Gahyeon hugs handong tightly as you, minji, and your friends regained their composure celebrating the engaged couple.
"Holy shit you scared me" Bora says as gahyeon saw her ex girlfriend in behind the couch.
"M-minji?" Gahyeon's eyes widened after minji nodded going towards you.
"You and Y/N?" the youngest was taken aback by what's happening whilst handong was clueless.
You chuckled seeing how they both were taking their sudden meeting after 5 years in a good way.
Handong was enlightened with the situation. "Oh" Was the only thing handong can say seeing how protective she got over gahyeon.
While everyone was just having a good laugh you and minji went outside since your girlfriend wanted too.
"Are you okay?" You asked worriedly holding both her hands. "Yeah I just can't believe I did that" Minji breathed out.
It felt like minji could finally breath after five years it was just like yubin said.
"I'm proud of you" It was the only thing minji needed to hear for you to see tears escaping her eyes.
"Thank you" Your girlfriend hugs you tightly never wanting to let go of you. You hugged back not noticing that your friends were watching such a beautiful moment in their backyard.
"You know I'm the one getting married but you two are acting like you're getting married before me" Gahyeon joked as siyeon chuckled showing her phone to the two of you.
It was filled with just you and minji hugging each other. You two blushed earning a laugh from them.
"Let's head back inside minji you can cook right?" You were surprised that bora was listening to minji when she introduced herself again this time with handong and gahyeon.
"I guess bora could actually listen to someone other than siyeon" You joked making bora chase after you.
The others just shrugged it off pulling your worried girlfriend inside.
"Don't mind them it's normal at this point" Handong tells minji with a smile.
Minji can't help but feel grateful because even after everything she did to handong's fiancee she still managed to leave it all behind and start a new blank page with minji.
"Thank you handong" Minji genuinely thanked the chinese girl who nods.
"I should be the one thanking you because if you didn't come into gahyeon's past I wouldn't have met the girl I'll cherish forever" Minji was taken aback by how understanding handong was.
She kinda resembles yubin in a way Minji thought wanting to ask you later if your already ready to meet her friends.
For minji It was a big step to meet your friends right now specially gahyeon but at the end it was all worth it.
(This sounds like an ending hahaha
Anyways a lot of updates today because I haven't updated yesterday because
I was sick :( that's why I haven't gotten to update yesterday.
