PERSONALITY narin, despite his girlish name, acts very much like every teenage boy with insane hormones.
narin is outgoing, bitchy and a slight narcissist. he's the so-called "bad boy" in every fanfic on wattpad and ao3 ever.
homeboy catches both girls and boys, the gays and the bisexuals. he's a walking human attractor, and he knows it.
despite that, narin can be sweet as honey sometimes. he has a soft heart; he can't even walk past a stray without feeding it. he's kind towards the needy, and obviously towards others.
but oh boy, he's a totally different person when he's with his family or friends. narin is intelligent, very intelligent. he doesn't show off though, which is a plus. even if he's a narcissistic motherfucker.
he likes to tease a lot, and of course, loves to crack dirty jokes and joke about his own trauma.
he won't hesitate to crack open someone's skull if they're being even slightly homophobic or racist towards him or anybody else.
BACKSTORY being in a strictly heterosexual family, narin's parents weren't glad to find out that their one and only son was, and will always be, attracted to men.
his parents were busy people. his father being the CEO of a famous worldwide company, and his mother being his secretary. they rarely had quality family time, which in narin's opinion, was better.
mr. kim never really showed any interest in his son or wife, and mainly focused on work. mrs. kim became toxic and depressed because her husband wouldn't even sleep on the same bed with her, so narin actually grew up almost parentless.
when narin outed himself to his parents, they were less than glad. they banished him from his luxurious home at age fourteen, and threatened to hire a hitman if narin ever dared to step foot inside again.
narin lived with his much more supporting family members until they had to move to japan.
there, he found a love for volleyball. and the japanese boys were cute as all hell.
