War. The most destructive thing one could start. It ruins lives and relationships. It can sometimes be caused by the thing all humans, or human-like species, crave most; love. Yet even in the face of war there are still those who thrive and try to live normal lives.

"And 5, 6, 7, 8. To the left, now back, legs open. Jump and close it, then turn." The light brown haired choreographer of Dark souls exclaimed as they started their dance practice. They had finally gotten a studio booked in the neutral territory under Annabelle, the queen of the Dragons gang. Yes, even in the midst of war there were people who still tried to find ways to enjoy life and accomplish their dreams.

"That was perfect, take five every one." he said.

"Nice job on the choreography, Marik.'' A blonde hair male with starfish shaped hair said patting him on the back.

"Thanks, Yami. Someone's got to make sure we're ready to blow the crowd away at the concert." he replied back.

"Well, you should thank Kaiba for getting us this gig. We really need the money, especially since the whole Pharaoh's Throne took over the territory around our houses." Yami said, frowning.

He had a great hatred for both gangs. Both the Amethyst Knights and The Pharaoh's Throne had earned Yami's hatred. The Pharaoh's throne was run by the current vampire King, Atem Kodia, while the Amethyst Knights were run by the previous vampire queen, Yugi Muto. No one knows why those two decided to start a war in the shadows, but Yami had already had enough.

"Yeah, the old studio has a line into it." A pale skinned white haired boy said walking up to them. His hair was sort of all over the place, but in a cute kind of way.

"Yeah. And selling your clothes, Bakura, has become impossible. Everytime we send it in it gets rejected." Yami said.

"Tell me about it. Fashionless pricks."Bakura exclaimed. "By the way, I finished our costumes for the concert." He said.

"Great job. Now we only have one thing left to do. Make sure both leaders attend." Seto said, walking towards them.

"Already got a plan. Here's what we do." He said.

The plan was already in action by the time they got to school the next day. "Thanks to a very generous person known as the dragon queen, the whole class has been given tickets to the music festival." The teacher announced. Yami just smirked as the plan was going smoothly. Bakura grunted

"I don't know why we are doing this. As if those blood suckers will listen."

"Wait for it." Yami said as they headed to the roof for lunch. As Yami and Kaiba had predicted, the leaders of both gangs were waiting for them on the roof.

"Is there something you boys need?" Yami asked, playing innocent as if they didn't have the queen send them special invitations that if they didn't accept it be counted as an act of disrespect. You don't disrespect the queen unless you have a death wish. Doesn't matter who you are, she still rules above all. One leader said, "we came to deliver special invitations from the queen," the other hand gave them their invitation.

"Really trying to return these? Must have a death wish." Yami said, smirking.

"And Atem, when did we become the queen's lackeys?" Bakura questioned. Yami knew that talking back to anyone from the Amethyst knights or the Pharaoh's throne was like asking for a death wish. That is, if you weren't Yami and his friends. They were practically untouchable thanks to an instinctively activated shield that a few 'Kemonomimis' are born with. It was used as a defense against anything their instincts deemed dangerous.
