I hear my alarm beeping quietly that only i can hear it. I jump. I have to get ready before my dad wakes me up. My mom left me with him when she got ran over by a car. I hated my dad.i was getting dressed when i hear footsteps coming up stairs. "O no" i think as i try to hurry up.then i hear pounding at my locked door. "That wont hold him long" i wisper under my breath. With that i grab my backpack and jump out my window to the ground knowing i sleep on the second part wich was close to the ground. I looked back to see my dad busted through the door and stareing at me coldly. " in 2 years i cqn leave this dump i mutter as i run off to the direction to my school. I walked to my locker and grabed my stuff and walked to class. On my way to class someone bumped me and i droped all my stuff. I bent down and saw the guy bend down to help me.
"Sorry" he said sweetly
"O thats ok" i say. I stood up as he handed me the rest of my things. I took a close look at him. He looked around 16 and had brown short hair and pale skin i smiled and he smiled back. He was wearing dark jeans with a white tee shirt.
"Whats your name?" He asked.
" whats yours ?" I asked right back.
"Dylan" he replied
"Alex" i said. He started to say something but he was cut off by the bell.
"O no " i said a bit loud. He handed me a piece of paper.
"I hope i see you around" he said then walked off.
I ran off to my class wich was math and was met by my best friend katie.
