From meeting skald to meeting ava the leader of the vulpis wolf mind was confused as to weather or not he should return having the memory of what the other foretellers did to him wolf punches a wall in anger
"son of a bitch what am i to do i can't go back i've gone into exile and i've already been labeled a traitor"
wolf hits his head against the wall lightly and sighs heavily as he looks at both his keyblades then a simple swing he points one of them at the wall
"show me where i need to go"
upon speaking those words a portal opened back to daybreak town however night had fallen and naught but slience filled the streets
"can't believe im back here well least it's quiet i don't think i could handle all of them as i am right now"
as wolf wanders the empty streets of daybreak town he watches as his younger self runs through town his eyes full of hope and happiness wolf turns to the fountain in the centre of town as wolf remembers what happenes there
"i never thought that would be the first time i meet you angel you still a much of an emigma as the day i met you and as i am to you"
The scene before wolf plays out as his younger self pulls a smaller angel out of the fountain the only after waking up he throws her back into the fountain
"i suppose those days are gone now heh i bet they even trashed my place while i was gone"
Wolf walk down the path leading to where he use to live his footsteps seem to be as quiet as the streets themselves as he comes upon his old place something feels off about it
"that's weird no writing no scorch marks to be found anywhere is this a trick?"
wolf takes one of his keyblades out as he stabs it into the ground before using it as a foot stool to jump to his window as he manages to hook something then begins to climb up but stops seeing the sight before him
"angel?"
Her hair bathes in the moonlight giving it an almost lighter shade of purple sleeping soundly without making much of a sound as wolf looks at the room that was his and somehow still is
"she kept my things and took care of them like they were her's am i really that important angel"
"WOLF!"
startled by angel sudden voice wolf turns to her only to see her eyes shut as she drifts back to sleep her figure going back to a more relaxed position
".......don't leave.....me..."
As angel subcomes to a deep sleep wolf lets out a quiet sigh as he drops into his room placing his old hat on the rack before he begins lightly tapping the floor boards
"there it is"
Wolf with a quick pull the hidden compart door lets out a light squeak as wolf checks on angel he lets out a quiet sigh of relief as he takes the weapon from the hidden room under his floor as he closes it back up he looks at angel one last time
"thanks angel for everything maybe some day when im no longer in exile we can go on a real adventure together"
POV angel
i hear a voice it's faint but i can hear it i know this voice i could never forget this voice they've been with me since i was a kid they are my friend
"wolf!"
empty like always nothing seems to have change everything seems to be in the same and the late hours of the night with the moon give me plently of light
"wolf where are you?"
i turn looking at his things that i have neatly sorted on the other side of the room i begin listing all the things wolf has from training equipment to the his assortment of hats he only has two hats both of them are make him look like some kind of wizard
"huh?"
I must have been seeing things but im not wrong wolf black with red belt hats is missing and in it's place is his white with black belts
"he was here in this room"
i don't know how i didn't hear him enter but he was here and thay voice that i thought was a dream maybe that was him
"hang on wolf i'll be sure to clear your name"
Wolf POV
after leaving daybreak town wolf finds himself near some kind of empty field as he buries the weapon in the dirt he turn both his at the ready
"who the hell are you"
there no response however they too draw their weapon two energy like weapons they aren't answering me but something tells me that im in one hell of a fight
we both move clashing into each other soon we begin to unleash a fury of attacks both of us not showing each other an opening
"son of a bitch!"
as wolf strick what he thinks was an opening forces him to act quickly as he watches the mysterious man weapon glide past wolf body but he manages to cut both sides of wolf jacket that made up the zipper
"damn it!"
The hooded figure weapons vanish as he begins clapping though his claps are muffled by his gloves in wolf hand glows then his entire body which as a voice echoes in his head
"congratulations you passed the mark of mastery exam use it well"
wolf looks back to where the hooded man however nothing was there only the sound of the howling wind blew past
"i've been given the mark of mastery but who was that guy and how does have the power to gift people with the mark of mastery i thought only the master of masters could do that"
wolf lower his keyblades as he opens a portal and walks through into another world the thought of having the mark of mastery weighing heavily in his mind
