Feeding The Triplets

I was busy looking at my amazing wife and our 3 beautiful daughters asking myself why I am so lucky to have them.

Then the nurse walks in

"Can we try and feed the babies now because I think they will now be needing food" said the nurse

"Of course" You said

Niall then passed you Riley so that you can feed her first while Niall hold Harper and Gianna.

Riley immediately latched on and started sucking like it was the last of the milk. She carried on for a solid 10minutes before stopping, you then burped her and then traded her with Niall for Harper.

You grabbed Harper and she also immediately latched on and started sucking but while you were feeding Harper, Gianna started to fuss and making movements with her mouth which tells you that she was also hungry.

Luckily Harper was finished so you quickly finished burping her and as you were about to flip her round a massive scream entered the room. It was Gianna, you could tell she was really uncomfortable and was really hungry so you quickly swapped Harper for Gianna.

But this time Gianna couldn't latch on and was still screaming, her cries were deafening to hear. You felt so bad and you could tell she needed her food now but she wouldn't latch on like her sisters.

The nurse then came in with formula so that you could feed her and she immediately latched on and started suck for 25 minutes until the whole bottle was finished.

You then burped her and then her eyes fluttered shut just like her sisters did.

"I think you should do bottles for the triplets because that was really difficult for you and the babies" said the nurse

"Ok, I will do that" You said

You were disappointed but you knew it was the best for the girls if you did bottles.
